Speciality:
Charms. Mainly because he learns how to counter his curse and studies very very hard, and with most cases, the charms, even if they turn out wrong never go too horribly wrong in his favor.

Muggle Studies. Since his father is a muggle, he knows a lot already and barely needs to study!

Care of Magical Creatures. Due to his sweet yet brave personality and sheer love of dragons, he tends to be really good around the creatures, and they don’t seem to be affected by the curse.

Limitations:

Flying. He’s terrified to fly via broomstick, everytime’s tried he’s either gotten hit in the head with the broomstick or had to be saved by another student or teacher.

Potions. Even if he follows the directions to the exact milligram, it still either blows up in his face or is a clear different shade or scent than everyone else’s.

Divination. His results always end up obscure and he’s often scolded for making it seem like he’s not taking it seriously.

Personality:
Knox is sweet and caring, he has a love of mystical creatures, especially dragons. But the kid can be a bit of a spitfire when he's pushed, he doesn't care much about people being mean to him, its being mean to others or doing something morally wrong that gets him going. He's pretty confident in himself, he doesn't know how but he wants to important when he grows up.
He tends to not let his curse get the best of him and enjoys life to the fullest, even if it includes a few mishaps along the way, he’s sure that in the future he can find a way to fix it and will be known for overcoming it, or at least he hopes.

Appearance:
Average height for his age yet scrawny, Knox is your typical twelve year old appearance wise. He has shaggy, copper colored hair and big green eyes. He has a few lightly colored freckles on the higher points of his cheeks.

History:
Knox is the only child of his parents, they are a pretty relaxed family, Knox was never forced to do anything, rather it be chores, studying or talking. As he grew up he seemed to mature on his own much to his parents' surprise.
Although Knox couldn't help but notice his bad luck streak, whatever he did it seemed that something bad would happen, even if it was something small. He was called 'Jinx' by a couple of bullies during his first year. During his winter holiday back home with his parents he was told that his parents had a friendly wager on the gender of their unborn child and accidentally cursed him at birth, needless to say he didn't find the wager funny at all. Now knowing full well of his curse, Knox works hard to learn counter spells to make his life a little bit easier. He looks up to the Quidditch players and other popular students in school and wants to one day be admired like them, he just needs to find something he's good at first!
* The curse was an accident, his mother had used her magic to make some sort of abnormality happen if their son would be blessed with magic . . . much to his demise his mother doesn't know what she did or how to permanently fix it.
