Event #1. The Imperius Curse.

The ten marked characters have recieved their letters. These letters are addressed to them, and threaten their loved ones if they fail to turn up to this topic, set in the Shrieking Shack at midnight.

Voldemort, in his weakened state - fixed to the back of a host's head, and his followers are waiting here for your characters to arrive. Your character does not have to come, but if they fail to arrive - expect the death of them and/or someone close to them.

When the characters enter the meeting area, they will have a brief encounter with the death eaters and Voldemort. These ten characters will then be placed under the imperius curse. They will write in red for the time they are under the curse and will forget their normal lives.

The chilling night air blew viciously through the shoddy architecture that was the Shrieking Shack. With a low growl, Jasper tugged his thick black cloak around his form more. He stood there silent, amongst a crowd of similar dressed men and women. His dark aquatic hues rested against the host whom held the Dark Lord, he couldn’t believe it himself, but it seemed the tides were turning and the it the start of change would possibly be coming faster than everyone, including himself, could believe. Jasper adjusted his mask, pulling the robe close once more.

He looked around the room once more, tilting his head a bit at the side as he noticed Bellatrix, scoffing quietly at the look that she sent him. He was only doing as he was instructed, he couldn’t be blamed for this, if she had done her jobs properly then he wouldn’t have been brought into this anyway.

Rose Lestrange wasn't afraid as she made her way to the Shrieking Shack. The letter before had shocked her but nothing more, as Bellatrix's daughter, she knew the Death Eater's wouldn't allow any serious harm to come to her. No, there must be more to the reason that she personally had been chosen. She had heard rumours of using children to infiltrate Hogwarts and her heart sank as she realised why they had requested her presence. Her parselmouth ability. They would use her ability to control snakes to wreak havoc among the student body. She cringed, but it was to late to turn back now. Besides, they had threatened Aurora and Vivienne. They wouldn't dare threaten Sinbad or her own life. Nonetheless, the two people they had mentioned meant almost as much to her.

Climbing away from Hogsmeade, she crept up the creaky stairs into the Death Eater's company, recognising her parents with a warm and uncertain smile. They didn't seem too happy she had been chosen for the imperius curse. She then turned and recognised the Dark Lord, with a small unnoticable grimace. She doubted anyone else would as he was fixed to the back of a host's head. No-one would see him there but his presence ate away at her. It was sickly and degenerating. She awaited further orders and for the imperius curse to be placed upon her.

Ambrose walked across the partially grassy area in front of the Shrieking Shack, his jaw set a little too tightly and his fists clenched in the pocket of his robes. He did not like being given this sort of ultimatum. His pride didn't allow him to take orders too lightly, and it took all his effort to force himself away from the comfort of the dungeons out into the chilly outdoors. He kept the letter in his pocket, every so often reaching out to touch it. He didn't know why he had been chosen. Yes, he was intelligent, but no more so than most of his peers. There was little that he could give that would be of advantage to anyone.

He saw Rose in the distance ahead of him and was tempted to try and catch up, to ask her if she was in the same position as him. But he supposed he knew already. Eventually he made his way into the building, breathing in the mildly disgusting old scent. I don't have a good feeling about this...

Laura was scared when she had read the letter she received. But she wouldn't run away.. She just wouldn't. That would put Kris in danger. She slowly made her way towards Hogsmeade. Laura looked back, wondering if she should go back and stay there. Her brown eyes closed as she looked forward once again.

When she reached Hogsmeade, she stopped and stared ahead of her. She was starting to shake as she started to think of all the bad things that could happen. Every single bad thing. Which made her cringe. She closed her eyes, before continuing to walk forward. But then she started to feel bad vibes, making her stop and turn around to walk off.

But she stopped.. knowing that if she didn't go.. something bad would probably happen.

She slowly turned back and saw the Shrieking Shack ahead of her.. And at that moment, she bit her lip and walked towards the Shrieking Shack.

Though the moment she stepped into the Shrieking Shack.. she felt a really bad presence.. Something sent chills down her spine. She slowly walked up the stairs to where she was told to go.. But the moment she saw what was in the room, she gasped as she backed up into the wall. Fast. Her eyes wide.

D-Death Eaters..

She thought as she really started to shake. Her back against the wall, hoping she would fall through the wall.

The cold winter air bit against her skin as she made her journey form Hogwarts' school grounds towards the shrieking shack. It was a long journey, but she moved at fast pace. Her blue eyes watched every shadow, her hand clung tight to her wand as it casted Lumos to light her way. Her face was blank, deprived of emotion though inside she was in a turmoil of sorts.

The letter she had received was bizarre and curious. And it threatened Juliette. it was enough to make her angry and wish to seek out why her presence was called upon. Who was it that dared threatened a Viper? And to her? And why would they think it was enough to call for me. she wondered as she glared to the empty scenery.

It worked at the very least. Enough to call her to the spooky property known as Shrieking Shack. Because Juliette was important to her. One of her only close friends, and the only one she could confide in. However little she did.

When she reached the supposedly abandoned building, she ended the Lumos spell and lowered her wand. She dared not put it away, not until she discovered who was behind it. Without a word she entered inside. Only to stop short of those present inside. Her blood ran cold as she looked at all inside, form students she knew, to the only person who could possibly be the Dark Lord.

She kept her face blank as she went further inside and fully entered.

Jim wasn't sure if he had ever felt this nervous before. Ever. His throat felt dry and his heart seemed to beat faster as he got closer to the Shrieking Shack. He had heard about Death Eaters of course, and had gotten a taste of their cruelty from what was posted in the papers and from what Brieanne had said about them. But actually having them touch your life, like sending you a threatening note, was another thing altogether. Even now, Jim had the note in his pocket, which his hand kept reaching down to touch, as if to confirm that this was really happening. He had thought about asking Brieanne for help, since she had experience with Death Eaters, but the thought had left his mind as soon as it had formed. No doubt the Death Eaters would find out if he did something like that, and the last thing he wanted as to cause Brieanne anymore pain. He remembered her saying how it was dangerous for her to tell anything about the life she led, for fear of what her father or any of his Death Eater friends would do to her friends. Jim felt like he finally understood that, that need to protect those close to you, even if you were going into the most dangerous situation ever.

When he entered the Shrieking Shack, there was a small group of Death Eaters already waiting, their black cloaks shielding their faces. Jim felt his hands start to shake and he clenched them into fists to keep them still. What the hell did they want with him? Did they somehow know what he was? Or was he just selected at random? He noticed Ambrose, Aileen, and Rose in the room as well, and they didn't seem nearly as nervous as he was. Figured. Maybe some mercy would be taken on them since they were Slytherins. Jim doubted he had that kind of luck. He noticed Laura nearby, who seemed to echo his own fears. Jim felt himself take a sidestep towards her, finding himself drawn to one person that was feeling the same way as him. And it probably helped that she was a Ravenclaw too. The creaking of the floorboards underneath was almost a familiar sound. The Shrieking Shack had always been a place of foreboding for him, ever since he had started coming here for his werewolf transformations. And Jim felt like that feeling was going to get even worse after this night.

"Welcome, guests," the Dark Lord drawled, his voice barely above a whisper. A dull ominous hiss. "I sense so much fear here. At ease, please, I only wish for a small talk with you all." His vehicle, host, took a step forward, smiling sweetly as a voice came from the back of his skull. "I have... a message for you all to deliver, a message for your headmaster. Dumbledore." (Here, Bellatrix let out a shrill giggle.) "As you will all know, I've been in hiding for a long time. Far, far too long. In my absence, things have been allowed to putrefy - the filthy mudbloods have been permitted to continue to breed, and in so doing, decimate and poison the wizarding race. The quality of our magic blood has been tarnished by their continued existence. But, I am here to tell you that salvation awaits. I wish for it to be made clear to Dumbledore, and to the world, that I, the Dark Lord, have arisen once more."

Laura looked at Jim when he entered the room. She watched him walk next to her. Though she couldn't talk to him, she could just stare at him in fear.

"Welcome, guests."

Laura's eyes widened more as she turned to look at the clothed man in a wheelchair. This suddenly sent chills down her spine as she stared at him. Though slowly she started to realize who this was. And when he moved forward, she put her hand over her mouth as she moved to the right and moved behind Jim.

Her heart was beating faster as she stood there in terror. Her whole body shaking as she listened to this man speak. She also could feel the tears that were forming in her eyes. And right then she wanted to run off, but found her legs wouldn't move. Which made her even more scared.

And when Voldemort spoke his last sentence, her heart stopped as she let out a whimper. She shook her head lightly..

When the Dark Lord's words ran around the room, Rose couldn't help but step closer to Aileen and Ambrose. They were the only two who she liked the company of, and besides, they were her friends. Aileen and her seemed pretty close, and Ambrose was always someone she trusted for some unbeknownst reason. Between them, she felt slightly comforted.

Nonetheless, Rose's eyes still darted towards her mother for some sense of ease at these words. Though she knew very well, Bellatrix would think she should be proud to be chosen. Perhaps her father would be more understanding. Turning to him, she saw he had a few deep frown lines but knew neither parent would defy Voldemort's wishes. She would simply have to stick out the ordeal. She knew her parents wouldn't let any harm come to her, she would have to rest on that knowledge for the meantime.

Rose moved closer to Ambrose and Aileen until her shoulders were meeting theres. At least she wasn't alone.

Lilo was in front of the Shrieking Shack.. her heart was beating really fast.. Why was she there? Why didn't she talk about that letter at Nani? Or Sitka? Or anybody else?! She didn't even know.. that letter scared her enough to lead her in a hounted house.. during the night.. at least she had her wand with her.. Sitka always said at her to always bring it when she was alone.. but how much it would be usefull?! She was at school from only four months and the little tricks that she learned were useless in a danger situation..
She sighed.. maybe she was still in time to run at Hogwarts and pretend that was only a nightmare! When she would wake up all the horrible things she read in the letter would disappear and her family wouldn't be in danger.. but she was already walking in the house.. trying to not make any sound she sneaked inside jumping a little seeing so many people inside.. some students of Hogwarts that she saw around and a group of person dressed in black.. she blinked when she recognized them.. Death Eathers! Not that she already met one.. that was the first time.. but from Grandma.. Sitka and even Nani told her about them.. she was in a veryveryvery dangerous situation!
As she stood behind the students.. she could hear a voice talk but didn't see where it was from and when it ended she couldn't keep a little scream that sounded like a squeak..

Jim felt his heart go cold at the sound of that voice, the Dark Lord's voice. He had heard that it was a voice that could strike fear in even the bravest wizard, and Jim could see why. He felt his feet rooted to the spot, unable to move. Hell, he could barely even think. This was really happening. He was here, in the Shrieking Sack, surrounded by Death Eaters, with Voldemort talking to them. Bellatrix's laugh nearly made him jump out of his skin. She sounded as nuts as the papers described her, which made her all the more frightening. He saw Laura move behind him, obviously terrified. He wished he could say something to comfort her, anything. But how could he when he was just as scared as she was? He doubted he could say anything at all at this point. He felt like his voice was completely gone. All he could do was stand protectively in front of Laura like a shield of some sort and hope that he looked braver than he felt. He heard some kind of squeak and almost thought it was a mouse at first before he realized the voice had come from a small girl that had just entered. Lilo, Nani's little sister, had apparently been summoned here as well. Oh God, not Nani's sister. How could they threaten a child like this? She's so innocent. He may not have known Lilo personally, but Nani was his friend, and he felt determined to try and keep her sister safe. He turned towards her and made a little gesture with his hand, telling her to come over to him. Better to keep her close in case he found some way to get her out of here.

The hiss of a voice sounded out into the silent air, causing a chill to fill the room. Aileen forced herself to remain still and keep her face blank as she felt Rose move closer to her. Upon the 'request' to be at ease, Aileen felt her face become a polite smile. She wore masks to match the scene for so long that her body did it almost naturally. However natural a mask was.

Rose pressed closer and Aileen took some comfort in that, though her body remained poised and her smile remained polite and slightly pleasant. She could not evoke the wrath of this Wizard. It would be the end of her.

Through out the Dark lord's speech, Aileen paid rapt attention to listen as to why she was there, what was being asked of her. She did not wish to be there, not really. The Dark Lord and his Deatheaters were terrifying and were the cause of deaths to many. She gained nothing from them, only was able to not loose her life if she did what they wanted. Refuse, she'd end up like others before her.

Jason... The thought of his name passed briefly in her name, but she forced it out and focused on the powerful being before her. She dared not think him a man.

Just what message were they to send? Aileen feared the worst.

Waycca stood among the crowd of students, fear mounting when she heard the Dark Lord speak. No, no, no, she shouldn't have come. Really, she hadn't had a choice - the thought that Aunt Lauren or even her parents would be harmed on account of her not attending this was too much to bear. Her heart pounded in her chest and she drew her robes tighter around her. It took all her self-control not to flee from the room.

A message? No, this didn't sound good. Not at all. Why them? Why had they all been forced to come here and carry out his orders? She fiddled with her hair, eyes wide and terrified. A few shrieks and whimpers rang throughout the place, and she felt overwhelming empathy for those around her. Please, let us all come out of here alive. What if his grand message was all their murdered bodies in the shrieking shack? There were enough of them to make a point.

Jasper listened to the Dark Lord, a slight smirk taking his features as he did, he was rather inspiring wasn't he? Whether it be out of respect or fear, it was clear that his wishes would be granted. He looked amongst the students and he didn't recognize some of them . . . most of them, but orders were orders. With the Dark Lord's desire announced, Jasper pushed his way to the front of the line of Death Eaters, pulling out his wand.

He had already cast a spell upon his vocal cords before this little meeting once finding out his job, his voice changed drastically as he hissed the spell.

"Imperio."

((sorry for posting late....I fell into a dead sleep and only just managed to wake up in time to get ready for work... Also, good news I convinced my parents to let me bring my phone tomorrow so I will be online ))

Dean got to the shrieking shack a minute or two after midnight, late, but not late enough to miss the maniac's grand speech. The letter he had received burned a figurative hole in his pocket, he didn't like the idea of negotiating with lunatics but he had so few important people in his life and he quite liked then as they were, alive.

Once the crazy had finished speaking on of his cloaked madmen lifted his wand and uttered the curse.

Miranda's hand shook, clenched around the letter as she stepped into the shrieking shack. She had thought about refusing, but Sitka's face surfaced in her mind over and over. Death eaters. Again. Death eaters. Anger made her movements stiff. Her eyes burned as she stepped into the room and saw the array of students there with her. Her eyes widened as she saw Sitka's baby sister.

"Lilo!" she gasped and ran to the girl's side.

Her arms around the first-year, she listened to the dark wizard's words. She shook from frustration. Here she was again, unable to protect those she cared about, subject to the whims of the death eaters. Her eyes narrowed as a single cloaked figure stepped forward. AS the spell hit her, she felt all sense of consciousness leave her. An odd languid sensation came over her, and a command began to form in her mind.

Lilo blinked when she saw a boy making gesture to tell her to came closer to him.. hesitating she walked in his direction and took an edge of his trousers.. she was so scared that didn't even notice that also Miranda was here.. amking her jump when she ran near her..
The curse that the man cast on them immediately worked on Lilo, she felt so free and immediately walked out from the house to the school..
