First Class of the Year [Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws]

Emily felt like she was on a roller coaster. She felt the tension everytime the boggart expressed her schoolmate's fear, and laughed with then as the boggart literaly turned ridiculous... She was laughing when the sparkling bat flew around her, and then she hold her breath. She looked to the boggart flwing right in front of her, she knew she was the next, and she faced the boggart. She didn't know what was her biggedt fear, and she waited for the creature to show her...

The bat form became a human one, and as the human was more definite, her eyes opened. It was her father... He crossed his arms on hir chest, and looked at her with that unique expression. The expression he always gave her when she had done something that left her mother crazy, sp the only one who could deal with her was him. That expression she knew she was grounded for at least a month.... Yes, that was really terrified.

She shook her head, she knew he wan'ts her real father, but it moved her a little. She thought on something that could work, and when she shouted "Ridikkulus!!", her father turned into a little chipmunk eating a hazel.... She laughed delighted, and stepped back pointing to the cute animal.

Nani watched everyone who was facing the Boggart.. Everyone with his own fears, everyone with a funny idea in mind! She snorted seeing that was her turn.. breathing she took her wand and watched the boggart who was a little chipmunk.. it saw her and became to change.. Nani dind't know what it could become and stood immoble watching it.. As soon as it became more clear she gasped and backed.. It was turning into a big, ghastly, spider!

Nani shuddered and swallowed.. "Bleah! That sucks!" she whispered.. then she raised her wand "Ridikkulus!" she said loudly pointing at the monster.. quickly she thought at a funny scene with the spider and quickly it turned into a big balloon in the shape of a spider ,blue and red.. She chunckled at it and walked to the back of the class smiling..

Todd took a deep breath and stepped up to the wretched thing. Everyone else had done extremely well so far; he hoped he could get the same result. He stared at the spider balloon and, for a few moments, he thought maybe the boggart simply wasn't going to do him. Foolish thought.

The balloon's legs stretched out and dropped from the 'spider's' body, leaving the center to deflate. The legs grew until they were all ranging in height and width. Suddenly, faces and clothing appeared on the things, so that in a few seconds he was staring at his family - even his mother. He felt his heart squeeze at the sight of her. His eyes widened and his fist tightened around his wand. "Mum..?" he breathed, so quietly he doubted anyone else had heard. All seven of them spoke at once: "And what are you doing? Wasting your time while the rest of us rust away? We don't want you and we don't need you! You were so very weak; we knew you couldn't do it alone!" The disturbing this was that all of their faces were cheerful while they said those terrible things; their mouths were stretched across their cheeks, eyes bright and clear. They continued to reign down more insults as he closed his eyes, trying to concentrate. Just when his 'mother' had opened her mouth to say, "You know, it's your fault I ran awa-"

"Ridikkulus!" he shouted, pointing his wand at all of them and making sure his voice was steady and audible. They trembled for a moment before collapsing; he didn't have to look down to know they'd all become giant, bouncing Slinkies.

He silently returned to his seat.

Evaine was next in line seeing all her friends fear mad her frown, the weekend they had planned sounded great right about now. Taking a beep breath she step forward the creature turn into her mother? now this was something she can handle raising her wand up she opened her mouth. The creature spotted her true fear and turn into her father 'daddy.' she thought, her eyes widen, it was her father he looked the same way he did when she was nine.

Her father smiled at her beloved daughter before blood started flowing down from his eyes, forehead, and the rest of his body, Eva was to scream seeing this happened to her father, taking a step back she raised her wand up at him "R-Ridikkulus." she cried, yet some how it didn't work she was to frighten for the spell to take it's effect. "Why did I have to die my little star, It's all your fault." he said as her mother and sisters appeared shouting at her how useless she is, and that it should have been her that night not her father. There words made Evaine sick to her stomach yet she knew they where true but that hurt her the most is when they said that she'll never be a great witch 'stop it. it's not real.' she thought wanting to cover her ears.

Evaine took a beep raising her wand up again "Ridikkulus!" she shout as the turned into fluffy pink, purple, blue, and green bunnies, rubbing her forehead Evaine walked back to her seat as she laid her head down

Caleb smiled as Maggie said well done to him , it hadn’t quite sunk in that he had done it yet . He still had the nervous feel that he hadn’t been able to get rid of either. His mum’s face played through his mind . Shutting it all out he turned to face Maggie battling her bogart then returning to her seat next to him. He hair was glowing red and in that moment he wanted to run his hands through it . He grinned as she came back . “ Well done , you “ He said sweetly.

Alliss clapped her hands together and shut up the boaggart in the wardrobe.

"Well done class, thats enough for today, please move onto your next lesson," The Professor smiled as all of her students began to file out. It had gone fairly well and they had all done the simple spell correctly pretty much first time. Somewhat of a successful class.

"Oh, and James Hawkins, a word please." Alliss added, requesting the boy to stay behind, she was interested in his boggart form and couldn't help but wonder, if it meant what she feared.

Jim had already packed up his stuff and was all ready to head out when he heard Professor Rivera's voice, asking him to stay. He got an uneasy feeling in his stomach. He would never admit it, but the woman intimidated her sometimes, what with her stern eyes and the look she sometimes gave students when they got a spell wrong. "Um, I'll catch up with you guys later," he said to Todd, Brieanne, and Evaine, giving a little wave in their direction as he filed out with the other students. Soon, it was just him and Professor Rivera left in the classroom, and it seemed a lot emptier with just the two of them. "You wanted to see me, Professor?" he asked as he approached her. Oh jeez, that was a dumb question to ask. Great going, Captain Obvious. Jim ran a hand through his hair, feeling dumber by the second.

Evaine packed up her stuff throwing her back pack over her shoulder as she started heading for the door, hearing Jim saying that he'll catch up to them later the 15 year old didn't even bother smiling at him or looking back. She was still upset with what her fear was, giving him a small wave she just headed straight towards her dorm room to crawl into a ball hugging her pillow.

Alliss couldn't help but smile a little at Jim's obvious question, he reminded her undoubtedly of Riley, perhaps that was why she liked him so. However, today she wasn't after a conversational chat, she was after an answer for something that had been bugging her for a while.

"Sit down Jim," Alliss gestured to the chair opposite her desk as she herself took a seat. "I wanted to talk to you about something. About your fear," She was trying to be as delicate as she could but delicacy wasn't particularly in her nature. She was more the blunt and out in the open sort.

"Um, okay." Jim sat down in front of Professor Rivera's desk, his hands still gripped tightly around his satchel. He just looked at his feet, one of them swinging back and forth casually. But at Professor Rivera's statement about his fear, his head snapped up, eyes wide. Wait, is she implying that...no, no, Jim, stay cool, stay calm. She can't know what you are just because the boggart turned into a full moon. I mean, you'd have to be an expert...well, she kinda is, but, still! He swallowed before asking "What about it?" as casually as he could.

Alliss wondered how she could place such a significant comment into the conversation softly, so not to startle him. Letting out a deep sigh, she took a sip of expresso coffee from the mug on her table before continuing.
"The moon," The Professor started by stating it obviously, some may have dismissed it as a silvery orb of some kind, but to her it had been clear. "Why is it Jim, you are afraid of the moon?" She looked at him curiously, not wanting to probe him too much, she would prefer him to be honest and open with her voluntarily.

Oh jeez, she suspects something, I know it! Come on Jim, think of something! His fingers drummed against his knee, trying not to look like he was about to jump out of his skin. "I don't know, I guess it was just...Well, you see...." He was still drawing a complete blank. "I...I...saw something...really scary, on a full moon, when I was a kid." He figured that was a good-enough start, although it didn't sound entirely convincing.

"That's interesting," Alliss paused, frowning somewhat at his comment. She could almost sense he was lying, but had resolved only to gently edge him towards the truth, she didn't want to force him. Also, she could never be entirely sure of what he was hiding, but years as an auror did give her a general nack for this sort of thing. "Generally, you see what you are afraid of, so what happened on the night of the full moon, not the full moon itself." She pointed out.

Jim squirmed a little under Professor Rivera's gaze, feeling like she could see right through him. Damn these nerves of his. Why was it that he could be smart-alecky to a bully in a second, but he felt like he was going to his execution when he talked to his teacher? Some man he was. "I can't remember...exactly what...happened..." Jeez, this was getting no where. Was there anything he could say that was somewhat close to the truth? But, as he thought about what he just said, maybe he could stretch it out a bit, so there was some truth behind it. "I just remember...running, in the woods, and...this...thing was right behind me. I was scared, I was only ten years old, I had no idea what to do. There was...howling and...and claws..." He swallowed, feeling like he was getting a lump in his throat. But this was some of the truth. It was what he remembered the night he got bitten by a werewolf, when he was just a little kid. Granted, he didn't name specifically what it was that had been after him, but it was still the truth, even if it wasn't all of it.

"I understand," Alliss nodded, still not entirely sure about his answer. It sounded to her uncomfortably like a werewolf which was chasing him from the claws and howling. Nonetheless, she could tell he was unnerved and decided not to push the subject further. "Thank you Jim, you are dismissed." She smiled at him and gestured towards the door.

"Oh...thanks." Jim hurriedly gathered his bag, feeling like he had just escaped a death sentence. Maybe Professor Rivera was just letting him off the hook, but he still felt incredibly nervous and just wanted to get to his next class and forget about the dumb boggart in the first place. He practically bolted out of the room, which probably made him look more guilty than anything else. But he didn't care too much at this point.

Hiccup raised his hand and asked, "May i go next?"
