The fire within ( Tag: EZ >D)

Zuko sighed, making his way down to the lawns and running his hand through his hair. He broke out into a wide grin once seeing the clear space, popping his knuckles he pulled off his shirt, great full, for a chance to move around and do something after having been cooped up in his room sick as a dog. Cracking his neck he thrust out his fist and extended his leg in a kick, smirking he took in a deep breath and let out a growl as he swooped his foot back down, a trail of fire following it before he crouched down on a knee, pulling his hand back and thrusting it out once more, a ball of fire rocketing from his hand and hitting the stone wall. He went about training like this for a good three more hours before stopping, sweating and read faced as he grabbed his shirt, using it as a towel to wipe off the sweat.

Benedict had held himself captive in his room for hours now, although he would never really consider it captive. . . more like, pleasurable seclusion, but with his eyes finally straining from the many pages of either squint-to-read small font or messy handwritten notes, he decided that perhaps, just this once, he would allow himself a small break and a walk around the school. It had been relaxing thus far, such a nice day that he considered bringing his books outside but in a flash his brain was elsewhere as he caught himself staring at the raven haired male randomly spitting fire. It was . . . interesting to say the least, this student was almost like a dragon, which had been a long time interest of his, and with that reasoning, he could only assume, was why he was staring to intently at this student. As the said student stopped, wiping his face with his shirt Benedict could only clap slowly. He smirked slightly.
"You must be a thrill for holidays."

Zuko blinked hearing someone walking forward, before jumping at the sound of the clapping, turning in the direction of it with a sheepish grin. "Hehe well when they need someone to de - ice the driveway they know who to call" he snickered wiping his face off more, using the time to scan the young man. He was of moderate height, slightly muscular build with BRIGHT red hair Zuko couldn't help but notice, fighting back a jump when he realized the slightly canine look of the student. 'How did that not jump out first?' he thought to himself before nodding to him "Names Zuko, and you?"

Benedict began looking the male, Zuko up and down now that he was direct in front of him. Besides the sweat running down the creases and curves of his teenage body, he smirked slightly at the shaggy haircut he wore, and the scar, well it didn't phase him much at all, he almost scoffed, he'd trade for that any day. He rose an eyebrow at the other, pursing his lips slightly as he waited for some sort of negativity towards his appearance, he had started a mental tally, and wished to know where to put the mark now. But with the introduction out of the way he stared at the student almost in an awkward way for the lack of a reaction.
". . . Benedict."
He said quietly.

Zuko chuckled as a bit of the suave nature bled away from his voice, clearly having been expecting a reaction to his out of place appearance. Grinning he held out his hand "Nice to meet ya Benedict, what house are you in?" he muttered curiously as he continued to scan him. He didn't have the haugty nature of a slytherine, certainly wasn't as skittish as most hufflepuffs he'd seen and he hadn't seen him at his own house table before so he must be Ravenclaw.

"ZUZU!!!!" Peter ran down the halls, crashing into the brunette and fell over laughing. He then looked up. Seeing another red-head, he blinked several times, "Who's this?" he grinned, getting up and fixing himself after while snickering at Zuko.

Benedict bite the inside of his cheek as he watched Zuko chuckle, knowing he had been found out already, a slight frown on his features that someone had over analyzed his analyzing! He looked down at his hand before taking it and giving it a shake.
"Pleasure."
He responded simply before frowning again as he caught Zuko scanning him over again! However this time, it simply made him laugh quietly to himself, the student with the deformed face must be more interesting than he, himself, originally thought.
"Ravenclaw."
He said with a bit of pride in his voice to know his countless hours of studying had finally been worth something.
"And you?"
Benedict asked, partly out of courtesy of being asked first. He was sure he already knew the house Zuko was in as he wasn't mocking him and was therefore unable to be a Slytherin, and he just didn't have the . . . charm that most of the Hufflepuffs seemed to possess, his fiery personality could only make him a Gryffindor. The redhead rose an eyebrow to the nickname he heard being called before watching as a blur of red took down the student that had stood before him. This caused Benedict to burst into laughter, analyze that! He cleared his throat once the other redhead asked who he was.
"Benedict Lloyd."

Zuko was about to respond to Benedict was he was bowled over by the green clad red head. "GAHHHHHH PETEY!" he groaned standing up and popping his back, cuffing the younger boy over the head lightly "That's rude Petey we discussed this, I'm more than willing to catch you and carry you as long as I'm giving some advance notice" he groaned popping his back and grimmacing at Benedict "And that is Peter" he mumbled.

Peter smiled brightly, bouncing, "Nice to meet cha Benedict!" he then climbed onto Zuko's shoulders chuckling.

Benedict watched the two, well it was clear these two had some sort of history together. His lips tugged to a smirk as he watched Zuko try to save his body from the attack, only to have this bouncing fit of red hair climb onto his shoulders. He raised an eyebrow, watching them curiously.
"Nice to meet you too Peter."
He said quietly.

Zuko made a grunting noise, wanting to get angry at Peter for ruining any possible chance he had a looking manly in front of this new person, but found the red heads behavior to adorable to stay mad at. Nodding to Benedict he sighed, "AND BEFORE YOU ASK WE ARE NOT DATING!!" he said a bit louder than intended, having about had it with that question when his own best friend rosie had thought it as well.

As Benedict continued watching the two he saw the slightest tick in Zuko's features before softening, pursing his lips together as he glanced away for a moment. It was just a tad bit awkward, third wheel upon first meeting, it was quite possibly a new record, but he shrugged it off. He rose his eyebrow when Zuko practically yelled at him, which only made him seem more guilty.
". . . so you just randomly shout facts then Zuko?"
He asked with each word laced heavily with sarcasm.

Zuko groaned, shaking his head as he shifted the now sleeping boy, still marveling at how he fell asleep anywhere at any time, on his back and sighed ''Dude ... Seriously ... you have NO idea how manny people have assumed that or asked it, it gets really iritating" he sighed.

Benedict rose an eyebrow as the energetic redhead suddenly passed out, slightly alarmed by this, thinking that he had possibly died or something, but once seeing Zuko remaining calm he figured that it must happen often. He stared blankly at Zuko once sharing his apparent, irratation with being thought of as a couple with the boy on his back.
". . . I'd have to imagine if you two didn't act like a couple, then people would assume that you weren't . . ."
The redhead said with light chuckle, not believing Zuko in the slightest.

Zuko grumbled to himself, sighing once more "Well weve known each other for about eleven years so some habbits are hard to break." he chuckled, not liking the attention of the conversation being on him and quickly trying to turn it around. "So~ What do you think of the school so far?"

Benedict smirked slightly, finding it oddly amusing how Zuko almost seemed to be trying to explain the situation more clearly, yet only ended up making the idea of them being a couple more obvious, at least to the redhead. He froze for a moment as the conversation was flipped over to him, biting the inside of his cheek and not particularly liking the random spotlight on him.
"Oh, um . . ."
He started off quietly, clearing his throat as if he figured it would force his shyness out.
"Its . . . a pretty good school . . ."

Zuko blinked slightly when he saw the sudden nerves of the red head, biting the inside of his cheek to fight back a chuckle he gave a nod. "Yeah it is a good school, some of the people here are .... well...." he grumbled before shaking his head with a laugh, deciding he'd let Ben find out for himself. "But the teachers here are pretty legit, nice enough" he smirked "And if your a bookworm I think youll fit in great" Zuko couldn't help but let the chuckle out when he thought about his own grades, better than someone would think when looking at him.

Benedict stared at the other intently as he spoke, smiling at his words before blinking as his sentence cut off. He was sure he knew what he was goiong to say, and hell, with his appearance he could find them easier than most. He flushed at the bookworm comment, chuckling nervously.
"Well that's good to know . . . worst case scenario, I'll hide out in the library until I'm finished my schooling.

Zuko blinked, the kind was actually kind cute. The little shy and goobery nature masked by the cocky and haughty additude. Chuckling softly he shook out his back mane.

"That might not be safe either, Catfights break out there"

He snickered at the memory of Peter and Aurora's rather cold first meeting.

Benedict stared at Zuko for a moment, catfights in the library? What madness was that? Since when was it not a safe haven for the nerds, geeks and scholars to get away from such . . . pointless bickering. He brushed his fingers through his fiery red hair, well guess it was time for a backup plan, the dorm room would be fine as long as there weren't too many students romping through and disturbing his study time.
"Well . . . dang, at this rate, I'll only be able to hide out on top of the school . . ."
He scoffed before shaking his head in a quiet laugh, realizing that he had rambled.
"So . . . Zuko, what year are you?"
