Bare Feet Running Through the Library Shelves [Tag: Serenity & Anyone]

It was yet to strike midnight and despite the twins not wanting to miss the countdown, they still had an hour or so in which to explore the castle at night. Everyone else was pre-occupied with drinking so it was a perfect oppertunity. The first place on their list was the library. It was so eerie and mysterious at night. It was also fun playing hide and seek between the shelves of books when no-one was around.

Genevieve's bare feet poked out from beneath her dress as she creaked the door open. She detested wearing shoes as she was so used to feeling the earth beneath her feet.

"Coast is clear!" Jenna whispered with a giggle to Serenity before slinking inside the library. "Lumos," She lit her wand with the soft-spoken word.

Serenity was glad they had decided to sneak around in Hogwarts. The ball was interesting, but she didn't really like just standing around and not do anything. Though she was also glad it wasn't Midnight yet, so they had enough time to learn more secrets. She stayed behind Genevieve as they walked around in Hogwarts.

Serenity was being very quiet, making sure she would make no noises for them to be heard.

She giggled when Jenna told her it was clear. She was very happy they were able to get into the library undetected. Serena took out her wand.

"Lumos." She whispered, before walking forward into the Library.

"Still can't believe we were able to do this." She giggled lightly.

"I know!" Jenna giggled as she became a little more confident now they were both inside. The rows of books and passages beckoned, it was almost like her haven as she was free to explore both physically and mentally with no-one else but her twin sister. She could only bare it for a few moments before she began quickly weaving down the second row of books, browsing the volumes to find any interesting copies.

"Oh Serena... why don't..." Genevieve's eyes glinted as she tured back to her twin with a wide smile spread spontaneously across her face. "Why don't we explore the Restricted Section?" Jenna and Serena had never seemed to get round to that even after their five years here, they generally spent more time discovering passages than exploring the library more fully. It was only a random turn in direction that had brought them here. It turned out, Jenna was certainly pleased with the spot they had sought for exploring.

Serenity smiled as she continued to walk down the aisles of the library. Her blue eyes scanning the books. She couldn't believe how many books there were in this school. Though she could understand why there was so many books. All of them were important for learning anything. In her head the library was the place that held most of the secrets about Hogwarts.

Serenity's eyes looked straight at her twin as she started to speak. And when she suddenly said what she wanted to say, her eyes lit up as she smiled. That was the one place they hadn't explored! The one place they didn't even think about due to them interested in other places.

"Yes! We totally should, sister! That's the one place we haven't explored yet." She said as she smirked. "What a great idea!" She giggled as she hugged Jenna.

Jenny grinned at Serenity's reaction, it was a simultaneous thought that was shared between them. The restricted section was a perfect place for exploring and uncovering secrets! Maybe they could even learn some more about the hidden secrets of Hogwarts there.

As the twins hugged, Jenna's grin widened across her face; this was the perfect oppertunity. The caretaker would be busy with the Professor's party and they wouldn't be disturbed. Sneaking down the aisles of books, using their wandlight to guide them, the twins eventually came across the restricted section.

"This is so exciting!" Jenny called in a hushed whisper as she could barely contain herself. "Where to start..." She pondered as her fingers scanned the spines of many volumes.

Serenity smiled wide at their mischievous little plan. The restricted places was one of the places where if you got caught.. You would be in big trouble! But that didn't scare them. They were able to get to soooo many forbidden places, they would made you laugh in disbelief!

She followed her sister down the aisle of the forbidden section. Her eyes staring at the titles of the books, wondering which one they could open first.

"I heard that one of these books screams at you." She giggled as she remembered all the little gossip about this place. "I wonder which one it is." Her soft voice spoke.

"Oh I am sure we will find it," Genevieve smirked to her sister as her eyes widened at the scores of books in this section. The word 'restricted', made one presume it would be a limited collection, but instead it was vast. Nonetheless, they had the whole night, if they so desired, to explore.

Jenna's fingers landed on one book which was dusty and bindings were broken. Blowing on it's cover, a cloud of dust billowed away to reveal some lettering. Passing her fingers over the words, she tried to make it out.

"Hey Serena, can you read this?" She gestured for her twin to come over and help her decipher the words.
