'Thank God, it's a person,' Liam thought with no small amount of relief when he heard a female voice echo in the stone room. He didn't do well in small enclosed spaces and the idea of being there alone rattled him more than he was willing to admit.
"I have no idea," he replied to the female's question, "Who are you?" The voice was unfamiliar to him so he probably didn't know the person sharing his stone prison.
He blinked hoping his eyes would adjust to the darkness, but if anything his eyesight only seemed to worsen. The few shapes he could see we're becoming blurry.
"The hell..." He muttered closing his eyes and pressing his thumb and index finger to the lids, he brushed the tips of his fingers against the corner of his eyes, hoping that something was stuck in his eyes but to no avail; his eyesight just kept getting worse.
"I can't see," he said, beginning to panic.
