Potions Class: Day One (Ravenclaws and Slytherins)

Sorry for not being so active. I'm starting classes now. )

Tarrent sat at his desk, His eyes scanning the room for any physical movement, as he watched he saw somthing scurry past. a rat, he'd been missing it. he'd leap up from his desk and attempt to pounce the poor creature. "Damnit.''he swore. "..." As he missed, he had a class soon though; so the Rat would have to wait..though..it was part of the potion he wanted to teach today. "....Accico Rat.''he'd say, waving his wand,. AS he did so, the wand made the rat come to him. "Gotcha little bugger.''he'd smirk holding it up by the tail, carefully as he set it down in its cage.

Jiquelyn entered the room, her books pressed at her body. She was excited. Lyn always loved potion classes and at home she often tried to learn new ones. Some of the more difficult ones. Normal potions hardly kept her interest anymore. Lyn walked to a seat near the table of the teacher and sat down. She waited for the others to join classes.

(Rule Change: So this class is now allowed.)

Larissa entered the Dungeons, looking around for someone she may actually recognise. It turned out, there wasn't really any students there yet and she was early. Well, that wasn't like her. Sighing, she smiled in recognition towards Tarrent, he was one of the Professors whom she actually liked somewhat. He wasn't scared to be strict and shared her same darkness and Slytherin tendencies.

Larissa held her head high and walked towards the dark back corner of the room, perching herself neatly on a stool and awaiting a familiar face to walk through the door and seat themselves beside her.

Jim peaked his head in cautiously before making his way into the classroom, feeling more than a little nervous. He was still trying to forget about the boggart and his conversation with Professor Rivera earlier. It definitely looked like she suspected something, but Jim didn't know if she would act on that suspicion or not. No doubt he would spend the next few hours agonizing over the whole thing, which was pretty normal for him. It looked like he had made it to class pretty early in his haste. He made his way to the back of the classroom, hoping that Todd, Brieanne, or Evaine would show up soon.

Finally, a class that they could both understand equally. The twins entered the dungeon's Potions classroom, potion books and supplies in hand, and immediately looked for two seats. Where, they didn't care, as long as it was close enough to the teacher so they could pay proper attention, but not seem as eager as a Ravenclaw to learn. Truthfully, they almost were. Almost.

Proteus looked off to the side, noticing only three other students, besides Perseus and himself. He saw two were Ravenclaws, one a young girl in her early teens whom he had seen around campus, and another a Ravenclaw boy one year behind them. What was his name...? Jim, he thought. Yes, that's his name. As a bit of movement from his peripheral vision caught his attention, he looked and saw Larissa. His eyebrows went up a bit, and he tapped Perseus once.

Perseus, who had opened his book and had been flipping through it to relieve boredom, looked up immediately at the touch of his twin. He followed his eyes, then gave a smirk as he saw what Proteus seemed fixated on. He immediately got up and walked briskly over to his cousin. "Not like you to be early, Larissa," he stated with a raised brow, crossing his arms.

Todd slouched in, still pretty bummed out from DADA as he scanned the room for a spare seat. He spotted a few Slytherin students and groaned inwardly; having class with the snakes was just the icing on the cake. It was then, thankfully, that he saw Jim and made his way over to sit near him. "'Sup, Jimbo?" he said, storing his bag beneath him. His nerves were considerably frayed. He didn't like this class, no, not at all. Way too much crap that could go wrong.

Oh thank God, Todd had just walked into the room. Jim had been starting to get more intimidated by the minute with all the Slytherins entering the room, particularly the three nearby. Not that he had ever talked with any of them, but they had a reputation. Larissa was along the lines of Aurora practically: beautiful and totally popular. Although the thought of Aurora made his stomach squirm, thinking of how the blonde had practically flirted with him. He still didn't understand what exactly had been going through her mind, but he often thought about it. And Proteus and Perseus were as close as twins could get. They didn't even have to talk to each other to know what the other was thinking. It was kinda creepy.

"Hey Todd," Jim said, smiling. "Not exactly looking forward to this class. This guy gives me the heebie jeebies." It wasn't that Professor Kan was a totally mean person, he just gave off a creepy vibe, like he knew what you were thinking just by looking at you.

Larissa looked up as she noticed the twins enter the room, sighing, she slid closer into the shadows, hoping they wouldn't notice her. Despite deep down caring for her twin cousins, they weren't half a pain when they wanted to be, and she always felt awkward with Perseus... because, well. You know. Sighing as she saw him approach, she closed her potions book and looked up at him blankly.

"Good afternoon to you to," Larissa smiled and rolled her eyes rather fondly before continuing. "I didn't realise the time, whats your excuse?" She asked nonchalently as she noticed Ravenclaws fill the room. None whom she recognised. "Plus, I skipped Defence this morning." It was what had made her lose track of time and accidentally turn up early.

Todd nodded in agreement, glad to find that at least his worries weren't unjustified. "Mm, yes, and I'm not particularly fond of this subject as it is," he sighed. "Has that all-knowing kinda feel." His eyes flicked around the room once again, taking inventory. The dungeons were as dank and drafty as ever. He heard, almost distantly, more chatter strike up as two of the Slyths decided to strike up a conversation. "Maybe more Ravenclaws will come soon," he murmured, half to himself.

"Ugh, tell me about it. All those properties of plants and stuff, does anyone really need all that?" That was where Jim often struggled in this class. He was about average when it came to actually making the stuff. But remembering things like where wolfsbane grew, what kind of herb would get rid of a hippogriff injury, stuff like that was what he hated. Recalling specific things had always been a struggle for him. "Yeah, hopefully." Brieanne and Evaine did tend to be the more cheerful ones of their little group. He could use a smile or two.

Aurora walked into the class room, she wasn't really fond of potions. She noticed Jim as she walked passed him she let her hand softly touch his as she walked towards Larissa. Sitting next to her. She noticed one twin talking to her. As her leg touched Larissa's
She saw Larissa turning her head Aurora than raised her eyebrow as she looked at the twin. Than looking back at Larissa making clear that she didn't like the Twin towards Larissa. She put on a fake smile. "Hello Perseus." She said as she nodded at him.

[OOC: This is gonna be so different than playing Brieanne.. AHEM AHEM. Bitch coming through. xDD]

Having skipped Defense Against the Dark Arts to focus on styling her hair, Vivienne sauntered into the Potions classroom, carrying her necessary parchment, quills, and books to her usual seat beside the windows on the Slytherin side of the classroom. Her green eyes absorbed everyone's presence as she walked in.

Disappointed in not seeing any potential prey to pounce upon, she leaned backwards slowly in her seat as she smirked. 'Ah, back in my territory..' she thought, looking towards the Ravenclaws and raising an eyebrow, 'Well, they must be frightened.. poor little babies. Wouldn't be surprised if one of them started calling for their filthy mum.'

Amused by her own thoughts, she started twirling the family ring around her finger, anxious for the lesson to begin so she could get done and get the hell on with her life.

Todd frowned, hoping it wouldn't be so gloomy for much longer. More and more Slytherins were coming in, while it remained that he and Jim were the only Ravenclaws in the dungeon room. He suppressed a yawn, resting his chin on the cool table. "Meh, at least there won't be fear-nomming monsters this time around, yeah?" he said, smirking slightly. "Unless, like, someone makes a boggart baby out of a potion or something...doesn't sound especially adorable, though."

"Ew, I don't even want to think about that," Jim said, waving the idea away. A baby boggart didn't sound very appealing, especially after having Professor Rivera ask him about his. He glanced at the door whenever he heard it open and his eyes widened when he saw Aurora. And it looked like she had spotted him. Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap. He pulled out his Potions book and buried his face in it, but he could still see her out of the corner of his eye. She didn't say anything to him, though. But her hand did brush lightly against his and he felt his face get hot. It looked like Aurora didn't reserve flirting just for outside of class. And it seemed that he still reacted the same way, whether he was alone with her or had a friend sitting right next to him.

Walking in the Room Valerie poked her head in, her green eyes glanced at the room "Oh god." she mumbled, bullies she hated them yet she loved getting pay back on them if they even messed with her, sitting in the far back away from people as she was used to being alone having a death eating mom isn't something to brag about to try making friends. she opened her book as she began to draw her long blond hair up in a ponytail mess with me and it will be your last she thought glancing at the Slytherins

Todd watched as Jim pulled out a book. He was about to say something else when he realized his friend's cheeks were bright red and instantly looked around for the source of his discomfort. Honestly, he didn't have to look far - a tall, blond Slytherin had just swept past Jim. His lips curled into a catlike grin. "Oh, wow, Jim. Using your charms on Slytherins now, too? Amazing. What a pimp. Your powers of seduction must be especially strong today," he snorted, overly thrilled to have something to tease Jim about.

Walking in threw the door Evaine rubbed her eyes she could use a cat nap right about now, not only did she stay up all night she had to deal with a wolf then got punish for being out this late which she told Professor Rivera she would take her punishment. Slightly growling not wanting to deal with class she wanted to sleep but every time she closed her eyes she saw the wold, she stop seeing the twins, her heart skipped a beat before her eyes spotted Jim and Todd, sighing she walked towards them "Hey." she said with a sleepy tone to her voice as she sat next to him. Laying her head down on the desk she turned her head giving Jim a small smile "you look like shit." she said poking his nose

"I didn't do anything!" Jim argued. "That's the problem!" He realized that he was shouting and ducked his head into his book again, hoping nobody was giving him weird looks. "I don't know why the heck she's paying attention to me now," he whispered, hoping that Aurora wasn't listening. "I mean, I didn't even say anything to her. She just came up to me and once we got talking, she decides to get all...touchy feely, with the...with the hand and...she's doing all the seducing!" He would have added more, but he saw Evaine walk through the door and he shut his mouth. Plus, he had started yelling again and he didn't want her to ask questions that he wasn't sure he could answer. He sighed, rubbing his face in his hands. This year was already starting off so weirdly. He did give a little chuckle at Evaine's statement though. "It's nice to see you too," he said, flicking at a strand of her hair with his finger.

Aurora had heard some yelling through the classroom as she looked over her shoulder seeing it came from Jim, ''she's doing all the seducing!" Was all she could hear clearly, She raised her eyebrow even more. ''Oh like you didn't enjoy it for as long as it lasted!'' she called back before turning her head back towards larissa and the twin brother.

Roy walked threw the door with a smirk on his face, first day back and in his favorite class out of all things. Spotting the other slytherines he felt at home but what was this Ravenclaws? His smirk widen as he keep an eye out for Evaine, stubborn girl humiliated him in front of the hole school two years back to this day he still wont forgive her. He notice a girl with long blond hair "tch Ravenclaws." he growled under his breath, he walked up to Aurora "Nice to see the lovely beauty today." he spoke to her before bowing after all Aurora wasn't just beautiful she was head girl (or is it someone ells?) and Don could kick his ass if he hurt Aurora in any way. "Have you seem a girl with a name of a star, i think it was Evaine."

Todd bit his lip to hold back a chuckle, trying with all his might not to embarrass Jim further. He waved casually to Evaine as she joined them. However, when Aurora yelled something at them across the classroom, he couldn't help but let out a few scoffing laughs before putting his hand over his mouth to muffle the sound. Really, he was trying to be discreet. Not trying very hard, granted, but still trying.

Aurora raised her eyebrow at Leroy, Before smirking. ''Well hello to you too.'' She than frowned lightly. Evaine? What would he want with that girl? She than looked towards the side as she heard somebody laugh. Seeing the laughing boy sitting next to Jim. Jim seemed more than embarrassed On the other hand of Jim was the girl Evaine. Aurora looked back at Leroy. ''You need an escort to guide you to the girl?'' She asked with a smirk.

Evaine mumbled as she smack Jim's hand lightly "stop." she wined, yes she could use a catnap now who knows if she might yell at Jim when he starts picking on her "a few more mints of sleepy time." she spoke like a five year old as she tried closing her eyes. She almost fell asleep but hearing a voice saying her name, lifting her head up to see who would even talk about her. Glancing threw the room she looked at the Slytherin talking to Aurora, her eyes widen as she jumped out of her seat hiding behind Jim "shh I'm not here." she whispered 'fuck, fuck, FUCK. Not Him anything but him." her heart was beating fast as she forgot Roy was in Slytherin, Oh why did it have to be him.

It looked like things were going downhill faster than expected. Figures that it would happen on the first Potions class of the year. "Boo-frickedy-hoo," he retorted, rolling his eyes at Aurora. Although his face was still pretty red and even when she was annoyed with him, he felt the all too familiar anxiety and racing nerves that he usually felt when she was around him. "Shut up," he muttered at Todd, smacking him lightly with his Potion's book. Why couldn't something happen that would draw attention away from himself, like a cauldron blowing up or a House ghost suddenly entering the room? He noticed some other guy talking to Aurora. Maybe he would draw her attention away from him. Although he heard a sudden noise and saw that Evaine had practically scooted her seat so she was behind Jim. What the... "Eva, you okay? What's wrong?" he asked, turning his head to look at her. Did it have to do with that guy that was talking to Aurora?

Larissa was watching the exchanges between everyone with interest and quickly lost track of what exactly was going on. Noticing a boy talking to Aurora, she turned to the Slytherin female who was sat next to her.
"Hey Aurora sweetie, what's going on?" Larissa looked around the room uncertainly and wasn't particularly bothered she had just interjected Leroy and Aurora's conversation. "Is everything okay?"
