Rodolphus Lestrange sat behind his desk, his mind full of thoughts. He was here to do... work. Work, that would end in tradegy? No, it would end in success. He had decided. He was relieved to be teaching Slytherins but to his disdain there were Gryffindors in his class. The man flared his nostrils, how disgusting.

Who wanted to teach Gryffindors? Not him. He would have been perfectly peachy just teaching Slytherins. Slytherins were perfect, Gryffindors? No. Just, no.

When Larissa had first glanced at her timetable, she had flinched slightly seeing her daddy's name there, teaching Slytherin's and Gryffindor's, well this was a class where she wouldn't be relieved to see Scarlet. Now though, she had gotten used to the idea, nonetheless, a class with her father, Perseus and Sinbad meant she would be wrapped up in cotton wool for the entire lesson.

Enjoying a sigh of breathing space, she entered the classroom nervously. As expected, it looked prepared for the Dark Arts, more than Defence, it was dark and had an edge of evil in it's atmosphere. It made her feel a little more at home as she placed her bag onto one of the table's near the middle and rested against the desk with her hand.

"Hello daddy," Larissa smiled over at him, wondering how is teaching style would differ from the other Professors.

Grace was thrilled to finally get to DADA and rushed into the room, her long dark hair billowing behind her. The classroom was empty, except for Larissa and Rodolphus Lestrange. Larissa was greeting her father warmly and had yet to notice her, Grace realized she would recieve no praise from this teacher even if she could make a person burn from the inside out.

"Well this is going to be interesting..." Grace thought to herself as she took a seat at the table beside Larissa.

Sinbad walked into the classroom, For the first time smirking wide as he saw his father. Walking towards him. ''Hey dad.'' He grinned, As he took place next to his sister. ''Well this is interesting.'' He grinned, As he noticed a gryiffindor girl. Smirking at her.
His dad wouldn't mind Slytherin's but Gryffindors? His smirk just grew bigger and bigger.

Jessica tugged her scarf a little higher over her nose as she entered the classroom, clasping her books closely to her stomach with her other hand. The classroom was fairly empty, the two Lestranges and one of the younger Gryffindors who she'd seen about the common room. She didn't know her well enough by this point, though, and scurried quickly to one of the spare chairs nearer the front of the class. It seemed a little strange but despite who this teacher was- she'd heard the rumours of his loyalties- Jessica was determined to prove herself in this class.

Yeah, like that's gonne happen...

Waycca entered the classroom and glanced around, wondering whose bright idea it was to lump Slytherin and Gryffindor together, especially for this class in particular. She spotted the Lestranges up by the front. The only other Gryffindors in the room were the Wang chick, (and she wasn't at all sure where she stood with her) and the Landon girl. She chose a table near the back and cracked her knuckles, trying to pump herself up for today's lesson.

Grace was messing with her books when trouble walked in. Sinbad Lestrange.

Honestly, Grace has always admired Sinbad, not necessarily on a romantic level but in the way he carried himself like school could go to hell and he wouldn't mind going there either. His sister was a completely different person than him and Grace noticed the way she seemed to sigh pitifully as he walked towards her. He took the seat beside her, as expected and turned to look at Grace who was only five feet away from him. Sinbad smirked knowingly, realizing as she had, that this class would be just fascinating as his dad despised Gryffindors and mudbloods.

Grace returned the smirk with a squint of the eyes that she knew made her look like a snotty bitch.

Another Gryffindor girl that she didn't know at all hurried in then, looked shyly at the professor and took a seat at the back. Besides the scarf she had fluffy blonde hair and pretty eyes, maybe blue or green hued? There was a scarf pulled over her nose and Grace laughed to herself seeing how carefully she fixed it.

"Thats right honey cover up that nose job." Grace whispered quietly so that the girl wouldn't hear, but her peers nearby surely would.

(( I'm not going to lie, I suck at this. ))

Rodolphus gave his children a nod before his eyes glanced at the swarming infection of Gryffindors in his class. He wanted to scoff and growl them out of his classroom. But he couldn't, he couldn't be fired for something so trivial. He'd just fail them all.

"Miss Landon, remove that scarf." He corrected a Gryffindor immediately. No one would disrespect rules of the classroom and school while here. Nor would he accept anything less then perfect from anyone.

Jessica's eyes widened in alarm slightly when Professor Lestrange snapped an order at her. He looked stern, and she was sure he was not going to take no for an answer. She stared at him for a moment, thinking that she might be able to stare him down, but finally conceded. She unravelled the scarf and felt tears prickling in her eyes as humiliation took hold- little to no one had seen the disfigurement this year, and out of those who had, Fionn looked like the only one who didn't either stare or look embarrassed.

"Sorry, sir," Jessica murmured, gripping her books slightly tighter.

Aurora stepped into the classroom, She noticed mister Lestrange..And Larissa, And who could forget her brother..Aurora sighed as she took place at a table alone. Not wanting to cause any problems with the Lestrange family...She sighed,
Leaning on her hands.
Looking around in the classroom.

Grace watched Waycca enter the class, and noticed the way she hesitated by her table for a moment before walking to the back of the class and collapsing into a chair at an empty table. That was suspicious, she was probably considering sitting with me until she remembered the way I set that paper on fire during potions class... Grace thought to herslf.

Grace scoffed as the professor asked "Miss Landon" to remove her scarf. She turned to look at the girl who sat at the very back of the class and anticipated her to be either missing a nose, sporting a recent nose job, or hiding a large pimple. (which would be silly since she could just ask the nurse for the anti-acne solution)

The girl removed her scarf, revealing what seemed to be a cross between a human and mouse's facial features, Grace felt bad for her for some reason and turned away slowly, so as not to humiliate her further.

Sinbad grinned as he looked over his shoulder to the girl with her scarf. As she removed her scarf as she was told to he grinned.
''We got to have more Gryffindors like that, At least some of them listen when ordered.'' He smirked wickedly.
Pointing to the girl as he didn't stop grinning, ''I wouldn't mind dating one like you.'' He said sarcastically.
Grinning as he took his gaze off the girl. He couldn't stop grinning to himself.
Even though it was probably only him who found it funny.

[[I thought I was at the front of the classroom, why is everyone looking behind? Smile ]]

The tears of embarrassment were quickly turning to prickling tears of anger as Sinbad openly taunted her. If it had been any other class she would gladly have stood up and fired a hex at him, but the teacher was, after all, his father. She suspected there would be severe punishment in store if she did take physical action.

"Please, you've hardly the level of authority to command a Pygmy Puff, let alone a Gryffindor," Jessica snapped, feeling her blood pressure rise. "I don't care if you're being sarcastic, don't joke beyond your own competence."

Sinbad rose his eyebrow, ''Oh!'' He laughed out loud. ''She has got a voice too! Well isn't this interesting?'' He grinned as he stood up walking towards her table her grabbed her face. ''I know when I can Joke around, And you are not beyond my competence little girl.''
He let go off her face snapping it to a side. ''Make yourself comfortable for as long as you can.'' He than growled at her, Walking back to his table He let his gaze fall upon Grace again.

The sharp pinch of his fingers into her jawline made Jessica's eyes widen, shock blinding her fury for a moment. She watched him as he walked back to his seat and turned his attention quite easily to the younger Gryffindor- Grace- and observed the almost admiring way that she looked at him. Of course. Probably it was best just to go along with Sinbad's violent little quirks, admire him for them. It was safer that way. But Jessica's fury came back and she stood up, her chair scraping back as she did so.

"Little girl? Yes, I have a voice- and teeth and nails and I'm very willing to use them against you any place, any time. You're not even worth using magic!" As if in response to Sinbad's growl, she felt an unexpected gutteral snarl forming in her throat as her fists clenched.

Sinbad stood back up. He was back at the girls table in a blink. As he grabbed her throat, Not to kill her. But he didn't allow much air to go through either. ''Well the thing is sweetie, I don't need magic to defend myself. '' Pulling her away from her seat he threw her to the ground. ''Show me your teeth than after class if you are so willingly.'' He said as he kicked her in the side.
Tempted to spit on her, But he let it be. Filthy Gryffindors with their 'strength'.

He growled at her again. Narrowing his eyes as everything about her now just disgusted him.
She had to pick a fight with him, Than bring it on. He kicked her again. Not caring if he would get into detention.

Molly rushed to Defense Against the Dark Arts. She honestly hadn't tried to be late, but her uncle just wouldn't shut up; not that she'll be able to use her uncle as an excuse. For one, though, she hadn't been trying to be late because aside from Transfigurations, Defense Against the Dark Arts was one of her better and more favorite classes. Although, she had Professor Lestrange and he didn't particularly like Gryffindors - and since Molly and his daughter, Larissa, didn't get on very well, she was probably worse off.

Molly quietly entered the classroom, not really trying to sneak in, but to go a little unnoticed. Though, there seemed to be a disagreement between Larissa's brother, Sinbad, and Jessica. Molly took a seat in the back, she almost considered butting in, but it wasn't her fight and Jessica could very well take care of herself. Molly looked around for a bit and noticed Waycca from her earlier classes sitting close to her. "Hey, uh, what exactly's going on?" Moll asked, her voice low.

"Sinbad," Larissa gasped and her eyes narrowed as she watched him through the girl to the floor, biting her lip. it wasn't like she wasn't used to his hot temper, but on their dad's first class, it was trouble they could do without. She knew it wouldn't take long for the Lestrange's reputation to spread after those few simple actions.

Larissa gestured with her hand to the seat next to her, indicating him to keep his cool and calm down somewhat. "You need to hold your nerve, ignore them." She made it sound so simple, but deep down, she knew their irritating comments really could get under your skin. Nevertheless, her pride got in the way of her retorting childish remarks.

[[Hopefully someone else will soon notice this otherwise this lesson just turned into a wrestling match... which would still be pretty cool. BRING ON DETENTION]]

Jessica gasped sharply as she was kicked a second time, angered once more by her weakness. No, not weakness... he just caught me off guard is all. As if to prove the point, Jessica wiped a trickle of blood from her lip that had been cut when she was thrown to the ground. Sinbad had already turned by this point, making his way to his seat, and Jessica took the opportunity to leap to her feet and bound towards him, jumping onto his back and wrapping an arm around his throat.

"It's not nice to hit girls," Jessica hissed, pulling him to the floor and flipping him onto his stomach and keeping one knee planted firmly on his lower back. A small flicker of satisfaction reached her voice, as if this was the payback she had been longing for not only against him, but against anyone who laughed at her. It was more than worth the years of detention she expected to receive. "Girls hit back."

"Yes they do!" Larissa hissed, she always had her brothers back and had stood as soon as Sinbad had been thrown backwards. With a fiesty glare, she slapped the Gryffindor across the face, hard enough to leave a stinging mark. "Watch your tongue and learn some respect. Now get in your seat before this gets ugly." She spoke simply and bluntly before turning to check Sinbad was alright.

"Are you okay?" Larissa whispered, knowing he wouldn't like been seen as weak. She shot her father a 'what do I do' glance, hoping he would intervene and take charge soon. The events had all happened so quickly.

Jessica stood up slowly, looking at Larissa. The girl had always had a bad reputation amongst her closer friends, and though Jessica knew little of her there certainly was a certain power that she exuded. She smiled, however, at her attempt to disrupt the fight. The slap had seemed perfectly juvenile compared to Sinbad's harsher beating, but it was enough to wake her out of the brawl.

"Of course, I'll watch my tongue in the future," Jessica said sarcastically, smiling simperingly. "My sincerest apologies."

With that Jessica turned back to her seat, sitting heavily and trying not to wince at the bruising pain in her waist. She refused to let the Lestranges see the pain they had caused. Jessica saw out of the corner of her eye that Molly had walked into the class and tried not to look at her, suddenly feeling as if the whole fiasco had been too embarrassing to explain to one of the kinder members of the class

"Sinbad, sit down. Detention for the both of you." Rodolphus didn't like giving his son detention, actually he'd prefer to give his son a pat on the back. Gryffindors were scum. His son had the right idea.

"Sinbad, see me after class." He announced, letting the room soak in his presence. Here, he was the judge, jury, and the executioner.

"Now sit down and be quiet until I begin the lesson." He barked out the command his eyes followed the pathetic girl who hadn't fought back.

At least give yourself honor and fight back. His internal self thought with a silent scoff.

Waycca forced her attention from the little brawl to Molly. She recognized her immediately and, glad that she knew her name this time, was quick to answer. "Uh, I guess that girl had a...um, malfunction? Anyway, Roldoofus over there made her take off her scarf. And she was really embarrassed about her nose, poor thing. And that asshole Sinbad made fun of her and...here we are!" she whispered, eyes flicking up to Rodolphus at the front of the room. He looked rather intimidating and she didn't fancy the thought of him directing his anger at her. She was at least relieved, though, that he hadn't seemed to play in favor of his son. They'd at least both gotten detention, so she supposed that was fair enough.
