What Awaits in the Dark...? (( Tag: Jim ))

Jim felt himself slowing down a bit, his kisses becoming less ravenous and more...thought-out, for lack of a better word. His lips moved more slowly, as if savoring every last moment. The adrenaline was still there and he still felt as though his senses were on fire, but he found himself settling into it, letting it become just another part of him.

"Hm?" It took him a moment to realize what Perseus had said. And he bit his lip, not sure how to answer. Some of that tenseness was just from experiencing something like this for the first time, but he also knew the other reason behind it. Being tense had just become a part of Jim's nature, ever since he had his wolf side to worry over constantly. And he wasn't sure if even somebody like Perseus could get rid of it. Thinking about that kind of stuff was making the fog slip away from him and he didn't want to let it go yet. He could feel his usual self coming back, awkwardness and fear included, and he didn't want that. Heck, he hated that part of himself. "How?" he asked, not sure what else to say.

Perseus cracked a soft smile when Jim seemed to have to think for a moment before he could even realize what he had said. The blonde pulled away again, looking into Jim's eyes as the boy bit down on his lip. That expression was rather cute on him, too. Perseus gave a soft, low chuckle, seeing the haze leaving his eyes. The boy obviously wanted to feel that same adrenaline rush again, and civil conversation seemed to be... getting in the way. Of course, Perseus knew it would... he had just figured the rush wouldn't have worn off of Jim so quickly. He softly ghosted his lips over Jim's throat, giving an occasional kiss along the warm flesh, trying to bring Jim back into that state. Fingertips traveled over soft skin as one of Perseus' hands began crawling up Jim's shirt.

"Well, you'd be surprised," Perseus began between kisses, softly nipping at his neck, "at how much tension you can get rid of through intimacy." Perseus brought their lips together, once more, as his fingertips softly ran up the boy's back.

Jim was waiting almost hesitantly for Perseus' answer, having no idea how he would respond. The blonde was so unpredictable, trying to guess what he would do next was like trying to guess the winning numbers for the lottery. But thinking about that was brought to a halt when Jim felt Perseus' lips against his neck. That familiar fire flared up inside him again, although it was a bit slower this time. Jim was still aware of everything around him, and he wondered if that fog would cloud his mind as densely as it had last time. His heart sputtered when he felt Perseus' fingers on his bare skin, somehow managing to get under his shirt, a place that hadn't really been touched before. He felt more aware of how Perseus' fingers felt, the roughness of their texture, yet how softly they moved. That was probably thanks to experience, something Jim wished he had more of.

"You are...the expert," he said, finding it hard to string words together. He could feel that haze washing over him again, that feeling of detachment so that only his craving remained. He kissed Perseus back earnestly, feeling like he was a little more familiar with how Perseus moved, even if the blonde was still unpredictable to him.

This was working out just like Perseus had wanted, and much less like he had initially expected. Jim's responses were less cautious, less hesitant, if not a bit shy, still. But just a bit. Perseus pressed his lips against the warm flesh of his throat, tracing patterns up his spine, and softly caressing the bare skin of his waist. He wanted him, now. Not just his lips, or his skin. He wanted to stake a claim to this young man, and by God, he would do it. As he reconnected their lips, and as they kissed, he considered the possibilities, given Jim's response to his offer. He moved a bit closer, deepening the kiss, then pulled away to plant more kisses on his jaw.

"Was that a yes?" he purred, running his hand back down his spine, only to firmly, yet gently, grab a hold of his waist with both hands and pull him closer.

Goosebumps ran up and down Jim's skin, making his nerves race faster. It seemed like Perseus knew just how to move his hands and lips to make Jim feel more alive than he had ever felt before. His skin still felt like it was on fire, even with the cool brick against his back. One of his hands trailed up to Perseus' cheek, his fingers feeling the stubble of his facial hair.

His brain gave a little ping in the back of mind, as if it knew how important Perseus' question was. Although Jim wasn't sure if he meant what he thought he meant. Was Jim taking things the wrong way again, or did Perseus seriously want to go further? Did Jim want to do that? He sighed, not wanting to think, not wanting to speak. If he was going to talk, he preferred to do it through touch right now. Perseus' hands, his lips, they were still all wanted right now, nothing more than that. "This...is enough," he said, feeling like that accurately summarized what he was feeling right now, what he wanted.

Perseus' skin tingled where Jim touched it, and he sighed quietly, greedily kissing Jim's neck and tugging softly at his hair. He could hear Jim's breathing, feel his posture, his mannerisms... they were calming down, getting less instinctive. He could tell the boy was coming down from his high, and began to slow his own movements and actions, reflecting off of that. So it was going to end somewhat as expected, the Slytherin concluded.

Surely enough, Jim had said it was enough. Perseus paused, then pulled away from his neck, giving him a slight smirk. Both their skins were glistening in the dim flickering light in the dungeons, and Perseus was somewhat proud of his accomplishment. He stared down at Jim for a moment, then nodded, giving him a soft kiss on the lips.

"If I ever go too far, don't hesitate to smack me," he stated as he pulled away, fixing the boy's hair and tugging his shirt back down. "Just not on the face," he chuckled teasingly, a playful smirk adorning his lips. It was probably late, anyway, Perseus doubted that they even had time for anything more than that... But he wasn't giving up on having him, either. It'd just take more than one session with him, and he didn't mind. "I'll walk you to your tower?" he offered, giving him a smile as if their encounter had been nothing more than a bump in the hallway. Not that he was ashamed of it.

Jim could feel the haze leaving his mind, slowly bringing him into reality. Perseus' face seemed to stand out more clearly, the walls around him seemed more solid. He could feel his stomach squirming with nervousness, but he tried to ignore it as Perseus kissed him one more time. But he knew what that feeling was. It was his guilt finally catching up with him, guilt that he had been seduced so easily and had reacted without thinking about the consequences. His heart was beating fast again, this time with fear, like it had when he had first walked into the room. How had things changed so quickly?

"You...you can head on back. I'll...go up myself..." He could feel his stuttering coming back, like it usually did when he was nervous. He found himself craving that haze again already, that made him feel like he wasn't a loser or a freak.

Perseus eyed Jim for a few moments as the boy's emotions caught up to him. Clearly, he felt guilty about this... Well. That'd just make for a more interesting game, wouldn't it? Perseus raised a brow when Jim told him to just head back. He figured that he could use the boy's wording against him, and still follow him, stating that Jim said that he can head back, and not that he should. But, he could also just walk away and not bother him any more for the night. He took a moment to contemplate, then, just for one last kick, pecked him on the temple, and turned and walked away. He smirked to himself as he headed down the dungeons and back towards the Slytherin common room.

Jim found himself giving a little wave as Perseus left, although he immediately felt stupid afterwards for doing it. The gesture seemed...a little too happy considering what had just gone on between them. And what exactly had happened? Perseus had kissed him and then Jim had become silly puddy in his hands, finding himself craving physical affection after cutting himself off from it for years. Jim swallowed, his hands shaking a little. He felt like he couldn't grasp what had just happened, what he had done. What was he now, some kind of sex hound? Okay, technically, he and Perseus hadn't come to that bridge yet, but no doubt they would if Perseus approached him again. Even now, Jim felt himself craving that haze that had settled over his mind, making him forget, for a moment, that he was a loser, a dork, a werewolf. He felt afraid of this new side of him, particularly because it acted without thinking, and Jim wasn't sure if he could control it. Even though his legs felt like jelly, he made himself step out of the dungeons, his face beaded with sweat. He needed to find someplace to be alone, to try and think about what had happened, what Perseus meant to him, and what would happen between them in the future.
