| Jim figured that Brieanne would say something like that. He sort of knew that feeling, of not wanting anyone to get involved in his problems for fear of hurting them in some way. Even now, he was a little skittish about it. He always stressed to Evaine the importance of staying out sight when he was a werewolf, so he wouldn't end up attacking her. And while he was grateful for her help, he was still afraid that he would hurt her again. He still remembered her arm carrying that claw mark of his for a while before it finally disappeared. "Isn't there anything we can do? At all?" | |

| Brie kept her gaze affixed on the window, engrossed in other thoughts as she answered Jim's question, "I just want you to honor my request.. and to just keep me in your thoughts in case I go away without warning. Don't question it, don't come looking for me.. and I'm asking you two to just cover for me. If Todd asks where I am.. just.. don't lie, that's not what I'm asking you, but.."
She bit her lip, finally taking her gaze from the window to look at them, "Just say you don't know where I am, but I'm fine.. because I will be.. and I always will appear to be. That's all I ask."

| "That doesn't feel..." Jim's voice trailed off, wondering if there was a point in arguing. It seemed like Brieanne hardly wanted any help at all. And Jim felt like just covering up for her if she disappeared wasn't enough. But maybe he would just have to agree for now and figure out a better solution later. Maybe he could come up with a plan somehow, think of some way to get Brieanne out of this situation. "We'll do our best," he promised. | |

| Seem like Jim was going no where with brie, she sure seemed more stubborn than both Eva and Jim together. She glanced at Jim then back at brie maybe she and Jim could talk alone to come up with a plan to help out their friend. Sure Jim was still a bit stubborn about Eva going out every full moon to help him out and fears one day she'll forget to come in once the sun raises and hurts her again. She says she wants to help him out no mater what. | |

| A subtle nod was all that came from the girl, her eyes locked on both Evaine and Jim's faces. "I know it seems like I'm asking you to do the impossible.. but think of it this way.." Her face darkened, and she leaned forward, "What if the impossible happened to one of you? What if you lost someone dear to you because of my father's bastard friends?"
She leaned back into her chair, staring at the wall, "Nobody else needs to lose anything."

| Brieanne kind of had a point when she put it like that. Jim would go nuts if he lost his parents or his friends to any Death Eaters. That is, even more nuts than he already was. He didn't want to think about what would happen if he lost it like that, especially now that he knew what he was capable of when he got really mad. "We won't let anything happen to us," he said. "That much we can assure you." | |

| "And that's why you're all staying here if I go away," said Brie, folding her arms, "I'll never forgive you if you show up where I am.. that's a promise."
She looked as if she was going to break down again, but her face quickly changed as she tried to think about happier things. It was already hard enough, with her thoughts always going back to.. "Todd." she said out loud, blinking once before speaking again, "I need to talk to somebody about this.. really, really bad. I just.. don't know what to do at this point. He means so much to me already and.."
She lowered her voice to a meek whisper, slipping the words off her tongue like water, "I think I might be in love with him.. but it's not that easy."
and this is where Brie's creator slaps herself for being the Queen of Mush like she has been proclaimed to be so many times
