Muggle Studies Class One (Ravenclaws & Hufflepuffs)

'Jim?!' She looked at Eva. Great, it was the boy she was crushing on so she would probably not believe them right now. She and Emily had seen the boy go to the shrieking shack so they should know it was him. But right now she was a bit offended that Eva didn't believe them. "Yeah, it was that Jim guy." She said quietly.

Evaine's eyes widen when Emily said Jim's name? Jim.. Her Jim a werewolf that's not possible. Sure the poor boy always look tired but that's cause he over thinks things right? "Are you sure Emi?" she asked, not that she was calling the girl a liar, why could Emily lie to Eva. Evaine couldn't even think Jim could be what they said, she hasn't seen him do anything strange, act weird besides from last night but she didn't want to think about it. Evaine glanced up at Maggie giving her 'is it true?' look as Maggie nodded saying it is quietly. Evaine bit her lip how to take this, she told Maggie this morning about her crush on Jim and now they are saying he's a werewolf? "I guess that's why.." she spoke quietly to herself,

''Of course I'm sure!!'' She raised her voice two octaves, looking shocked to Eva... She was afraid of getting the center of attention, and whispered to Eva ''We saw all the transformation, we spied him since he left the castle...'' She gestured towards her and Maggie. She didn't understand why Eva looked like that way, so skeptical around the truth.

"okay shuu." she said her eyes getting teary, her crush being the thing that almost hurt Emily. "Ok, ok I believe you Emily. i know you wouldn't lie, just m-making sure.".
Evaine took a deep breath whipping her eyes she looked up at the girls giving them a soft smile "Mind if i sit with you guys." she asked not sure if she should go sit back next to Jim, he might start asking why she looked so upset.

Emily felt a little better when Eva comforted her, but she seemed sad knowing the truth... "Mind if i sit with you guys."... ''I don't...'' Emily said softly, and gave a small smile to Eva, making room to her.... ''I-is he your friend?? Is he nice??'' Emily asked with a shaking voice. She had spied the boy since the first day at school, but she never had a chance to talk to him. The only contact she had was with his animal side, and she didn't have good memories from that.

Evaine smiled back at emily before she got up glancing over at Jim then sat down next to Emily seeing her hair was a bit messy "want me to brush you hair?" she asked before Emily asked her if Jim was nice "Yes he is my friend, a very good friend. He is the sweetest person ever, a little nervous and why at first but once you get passed his shell he is kind, sweet and that's why I.." she leaned down whispering into Emily's ear "That's why I have a crush on him.". Evaine blushed slightly then sat back up. Still unsure if they where right but Evaine might ask Jim when they are alone or just forget about it.

Emily nodded when Eva asked her if she wanted to have her hair brushed. She sat straigh and give her back to Eva. She liked when people brished her hair, she felt loved, and she liked the sensation. Emily listened to Eva while she brushed her black hair, and she smiled a little relieved seeing he was a nice person, nothing like the animal on full moon, and her eyes got wide when Eva whispered she had a crush on him... She turned her head back bluntly, blinking many times before demanding quietly... ''Does he know you like him??''

Softly brushing Emily's long raven-black hair feeling almost like a motherly bond towards Emily, sure Eva was 15 but Emily was like a daughter she wish to have nine years from now. Humming to Emily after she told her how sweet Jim is , her lips curled into a loving smile her eyes glazing at Jim a little filled with love but looked back down at Emily not knowing if Jim saw or not. "There." she said putting Emily's hair back into a low ponytail. The small first year turned her head looking back at Emily as she asked of Jim even knows, her smile faded away leaving a frown behind "Um no.. he doesn't and I'm not sure if i want him to know. I'm not 100% sure about my feelings towards him." she sighed

''Well, I have no experience at that... But I've watched many movies about this with my mom...'' She said turning towards Eva, with a sweet smile on her face... ''When you're sure about your feelings, and you really want to stay with him... You must tell him!! All the heroines that do this has her happy ending on the movies....'' She said naively to Eva. She knew that all that happened into the movies didn't happen in real life, but until last year, she thought that magic happened only into the movies, so why Eva could be her fairytale story too?? While thinking about this stuff, Emily's smile got sweeter, and her eyes had a glimpse of sparkle.

'This is worse than just being gone for days at a time,' thought an exhausted and sore Brieanne, straining to push herself into the classroom. Due to events she didn't want known, her right leg was broken, and she was in a wheelchair for the time being. Almost everything about her looked different. There were bruises and burn marks on her arms and legs, her eyes were slightly hollow, and her hair was longer, oddly.

Her hair was in a side braid, making her facial features look haunting yet mature. As she wheeled herself into the classroom, she saw all three of her friends, plus some new faces. 'Oh, please don't let them ask me what happened.. I can't..' she thought, biting her lip as she made her way over to them, not saying a word as she knew her voice was hoarse and cracked.

Todd had been lying his head on the top of his desk, resting his eyes and willing his pulsing headache to go away. His interest was piqued when he heard something odd, something that sounded as if it was rolling into the classroom. He glanced up and started to smile when he recognized Brie, but his face fell as soon as he took in her full appearance. A sudden anger bubbled up into him and he sucked ina sharp breath of air. No. He felt a powerful urge to find out who had done this to her, who had abused her so. He couldn't find the means to say a word, though, so he simply stared at her, the icy cold grip of rage strong as ever.

Brie caught Todd's eye and she immediately tensed up, feeling tears already welling up in her eyes. 'Don't cry,' she warned herself, 'It even hurts to cry. You're tough. You crying is the last thing they need to see.'

"..um," the girl started, her throat burning from the oxygen she was taking in, "..Has he.. started teaching yet?" she asked, her voice cracked and soft, as if she was about to lose her voice. She took another solemn glance at Todd, her brown orbs meeting his, hoping he knew that she would explain later, eventually.

She tugged on her braid, wincing as one of the bigger burns hit the cold metal of the wheelchair's arm. "Ow.." she exclaimed, putting her hands back in her lap, feeling totally helpless.

Jim had felt himself tuning out to the sounds around him, Evaine, Emily and Margaret's conversation turning into just dull noise until he finally fell asleep against his desk. Jim was known for doing that sometimes, especially after full moon nights. But thinking about Leroy and Evaine almost all night had had almost the same effect, and he only looked up when he heard the door open. "Huh?" He blinked several times, trying to wake up. But he soon snapped awake when he saw that it was Brieanne, looking like someone had put her through a blender. A broken leg, bruises, burn marks, she looked like a wreck. "Bloody hell!" he exclaimed, forgetting that a teacher was right there in the room. "What happened, Bri?"

Evaine smiled at Emily wanting her older sis wanting a fairy tale ending but thinking to herself that happy ends happens for other people besides her. If she wanted a happy ending it would have Jim, and her father for she missed him so "Thanks, Emily and I'll tell him when the time's right.' she said. the door opened as she looked up seeing Brie? "BRIE!" she jumped out of her seat running up towards her along with Jim. "what happened to you, who did this?" she asked.

Brieanne bit her lip as her friends started to ask what happened to her, keeping her eyes on her arm as she spoke. "It was.. um.. just a sparring type of thing, really.. Uncle's friends wanted to--"

She couldn't find the words to say what had really happened. His friends wanted her to, she refused, they thought of another plan. That's exactly what happened that night. Brieanne was never the type to just throw her life happenings out there for everyone and their mum to hear. She got choked up, and the tears she was so desperately trying to keep inside fell, the girl quickly rubbing at her face.

"..I'm breathing, I'm still alive, I'm here.." she blurted out, closing her eyes, "I can handle this, okay? I don't.. I don't need you guys tangled up in my life. It was a spar. JUST a spar. And that's all."

She knew she was lying, but it was odd. She was starting to believe her own lies. But, in reality, it was much more shocking than she had painted it to be.

Emily's eyes followed Eva's, and they got wide seeing the ravenclaw girl entering the class like that. She looked like she came from a horror movie, and she jumped on her seat when she heard Jim cursing out loud... She looked briefly to the girl, her name was Brie, wasn't it?? She kept quietly, altough she glanced over the ravenclaw group curiously many times... As she couldn't hear what the Brie girl was saying she curled into Maggie and whispered to her... ''I wonder what happened to her. It seems like went to a war...''

Todd bit his lip, forcing himself not to further question her. He glanced over at Eva and Jim and wet his lips, struggling to keep the anger from his voice. "Guys...," he murmured, hoping his tone alone conveyed the message. Brie obviously needed time to tell them, if she was going to at all. Their prying would only break her down, and she definitely didn't need to do that in the middle of class. "It's okay, Brie. You don't have to say anything," he sighed, trying to reign in all of his emotions on the matter. He was burning to know what had happened, but it was obvious that she was in no state to share anything with them at the moment.

Jim blinked, surprised by the harshness in Brieanne's voice. His brow furrowed, not entirely convinced by her explanation. But at Todd's voice, he figured that this probably wasn't the best time to become an interrogator. "Okay, okay, you don't need to get all defensive," he said. "Just let us know if you need anything, okay?" He hoped that he could make that offer, at least. It seemed like that was all Brieanne was willing to accept right now.

"I just.. I.. I'm so sorry, you all.. I've.." she trailed off, looking solemnly at the trio, "..horrid things.."

Brieanne sighed, tugging on her braid yet again. "Um.. I want to talk to you guys. All of you. After classes. It's .. really important." As she inished her sentence, she slid back into her wheelchair, locking eyes with Todd while speaking again. "..I hope you all are well. Especially you, Evaine.. I only remember a few things from last night, but I know you were hurt."

Her memories were faded, but she did know she told Todd something that worried yet freed the both of them. She had a notion of what it was, but it always drew her back to look at him. Evaine's injury had worried her as well, and she was worried still about her because Brie wasn't able to keep an eye on her for the time being.

Evaine gently placed her hands over on top of Brie's lessening to what she was saying 'something must have really scared her.' she thought

She bit her lower lip "Don't worry about how I'm feeling, my wrist id alright. I'm more worried about you at this moment Brie." she said

“Okay, settle down everyone. I suppose we may as well start with introductions,” Dean sighed, “I’d like it if you could all give me your names and one interesting fact.”

Great, his first day teaching and he was already resorting to his grade school teacher’s “getting to know you” games.

“If It helps, I’ll start, My name is Dean McCoppin and I am a mechanic.”

It wasn’t an interesting fact and it was probably obvious, but that was all he was going to tell a group of students.

Emily was well seated, curled into Maggie's embrace. She knew half the class, but none of a interesting fact from them. Well, at least what they thought it was interesting to themselves. She felt that old tension in the air, like into the DADA class, where everybody was to shy to start. She straightened, and cleaned her throat, ready to start the introductions...
''I'm Emily, I'm from Hufflepuff, and one interesting fact about me is....'' She stopped to think, she almost said that she was almost attacked by a werewolfe, but once again, she knew she didn't had the right to say such thing in front of everybody. It only would make everybody uncomfortable, speacially Jim.
''...and one intesting fact about me is that before I knew I was a witch, I could conjure a crab.'' Suddenly she got curious and frowned slightly. She had never tried to conjure her friend Sebastian after going to Hogwarts. She decided to give a shot after class.

Maggie gave an amused look at the teacher. The fact that he was doing these getting to know you games showed he wasn't completely in charge. She listened to Emily, then decided it was her turn after the younger girl. "My name is Maggie, I'm a huffelpuff and one interesting fact about me is that I love elephants." She said cheerfully, remembering the little elephant figurines she had at home.

Nani entered in class.. The Muggle Studies was one of the class where she was good.. She looked in and saw that someone was already in and already sat down.. I'm late! she snorted to herself walking to a desk and sitting down..

Jim wasn't exactly feeling confident as of right now. Talking in front of a crowd always gave him the willies. But he stood up anyway, brushing a strand of hair behind his ear. He gave a little smile in Nani's direction as she made her way into the classroom. "Um, hi. I'm Jim. And...I...like Quidditch?" The sentence ended more as a question than anything else, making Jim turn red a little as he sat back down.
