Slytherin House Table: The Sorting Ceremony and Feast Empty
PostSubject: Slytherin House Table: The Sorting Ceremony and Feast   Slytherin House Table: The Sorting Ceremony and Feast EmptySun Apr 15, 2012 9:32 am

[Your character has entered the Great Hall and sat at their Slytherin house table. The first years have just been sorted and are now seated.]

Alliss Rivera moved the sorting hat and the stool to the side, taking her position seated next to Albus Dumbledore at the staff table, she awaited his speech, tapping her glass to retrieve the student's attention.

"Welcome to the start of a new term at Hogwarts everyone," Albus stood up and addressed the students. "I would like to remind you that the third floor corridor and the forbidden forest are forbidden to anyone who does not wish to suffer a most painful death." He paused, he wanted to make sure his words had been heard by the students. "That aside, let the feast, begin!" With his last words, he gestured with his hands towards the four tables and a plentiful supply of food appeared.

The transformation still amazed Alliss and she couldn't help but smile as she sat between Riley and the Headmaster when the feast appeared. There was something so welcoming and homely about it.

[Feel free to roleplay as you wish, after the feast, your characters will be placed into dormitories and you shall then continue to roleplay there. The dormitories will be announced in the "Important Lists" section after the feast. Enjoy!]

The teenage ghost Vanessa Corvus drifted over the heads of the students, most of whom were gazing at the food appearing before them. Her feet just brushed the tops of their heads, passing through them lightly. She never made much of an effort to get to know the students, but she did recognise a fair amount of them, mostly the Slytherins, for she spent much of her time in their dormitories. It was a relief, she supposed, that the new year was beginning. During the holidays, it was incredibly boring and far too quiet when roaming the desolate school halls. She much preferred it when there were students about. She glanced down at the students, raising her eyebrows at the little first years who seemed quite unsettled by her presence. She swooped a little lower, and they jumped, their eyes wide. Yes, she decided, it was good to be back.

Larissa wasn't particularly a food person and after the Headmaster had made his repetitive speech, she simply looked at it as everyone dived in on the other tables. It was a little disturbing. She decided to wait for a while before she would begin eating, it wasn't like she hadn't had anything before she came anyway. Her cooks had made her and her brother a lovely lunch of pheasant before they had left. Instead of eating, she turned to Aurora who was sat at her side.

"I wonder who they have roomed us both with this year?" Larissa asked with a smile, she was still waiting for the day that they would both be put in the same dormitory, they would have so much fun.

Don was sitting in front of his childhood friend. He only heard the headmaster absently since he was repeting the same words as usual and thought about a way to seduce the pretty Maggie and the tough Larissa. they had perfect opposit styles. That would be fun to try to get both of them. He didn't particularly make a reaction when the food appeared on the table. 'Another way to impress students' thought Don smirking. But he was hungry so he didn't really cared about how the food would get into his plate for now. He grabbed his fork and knife and picked a piece of meet.
He noticed the teenage ghost who was trying to affraid the first years and grinned when she succeded. He didn't really like her but she sure new how to play her role perfectly! he thought.

Aurora had sat down next to Larissa. She raised an eyebrow at the first formers being freaked out about a ghost. She than looked back at Larissa, ''Oh I hope with you.'' She smiled. ''Too bad we cannot have a room with the three of us, Poor Don.'' She grinned.
As she winked at Larissa. ''Though I really hope I share it with you. I hate sharing a room with some odd people.'' She frowned.
Looking at the food before her, She was not hungry at all. Just the sight of the First formers shoving all the food into their mouths was disgusting.

Jason moved silently sitting at an available seat. He listened to the speech, completely uninterested in it. People went in to the forest, came out alive. Then again they hadn't ever really gone that deep.

His inner thoughts were lost when he saw the table fill with food. His eyes looked at the other, not touching the food. He wasn't up for eating right now. He just listened to the conversation happening next to him.

"Don would certainly have fun if we all shared," Larissa laughed light-heartedly at the thought, she would not trust Don when she was sleeping, thats for sure! "I hope so too, it's really awkward when I have to share my room with another stranger," Larissa sighed, it was uncomfortable and not particularly pleasant. One of the things she really didn't enjoy about Hogwarts, that and train journeys it seemed.

"I've been waiting so many years but they still don't want me to share your room. I really can't understand why. I've asked so many times but they still turn me down!" said Don in a fake sight, obviously joking. "You're both not going to eat at all? Seriously, after such a journey, you need to gain back some strengh." he added.

Aurora could not agree more with Larissa, She most of the time hated her room mate. She than laughed at Donald's reaction.
Followed by shaking her head. ''I lost my appetite by seeing those little monsters throw all the food into their mouths.'' She shook her head again. Making a disgusted face.

Larissa smiled and rolled her eyes once more at his teasing. When he asked her about why she was not eating, she firstly gestured to the uncouth first years before responding.
"I'm not a big eater," She shrugged, not really wishing to discuss it further, she wasn't, that was pretty much all there was to it. She wasn't unhealthy thin, she was healthy, she just didn't eat so much. Especially not in such company as the first years.

"I guess I'd never be able to understand women as much as I would like to." said Don rolling his eyes. "So, girls have you seen anything interesting to play with up until now?" he asked smiling and raising an eyebrow. (the question was not clear for everyone around them but, the three of them knew perfectly what he was talking about: men to seduce for Aurora and people to pick on for Larissa.)

Swaying her hips as she entered, Nefertit sat down at the table and put her chin in her delicate hands in a show of boredom as she looked around, she spotted her sister at another table and quickly ducked her head, turning back to the group and scanning the table. She barely listened as Aliss spoke, looking down at her food and rolling a grape in her delicate fingers, yawning as she looked aorund for some way to entertain herself.

Aurora grinned. ''I've seen one who seemed interested. He had a scar on his eyes. A broken boy. '' She smirked darkly.
''But I am not sure, Most are not enough for me. Of course as the daughter of the minister. I deserve the best.'' She grinned again.
Looking around. There weren't many guys who were good enough for her.

Lilyan had been one of the lasts to leave the train, as well as one of the lasts to reach the carriages, one of the lasts to leave them and one of the lasts to reach the table. She didn't mind, she had avoided the most part of the confusion.
Now she was sitting in a corner, she had listened the Headmaster's speech without too much interest, and then, when the feast began and the food appeared, she opened again on the table the book that she was reading before and restared to read.
She took without a lot of attention something from a dish that she could nibble while reading, without paying attention to any of her mates.

"Give us time Don," Larissa smiled thoughtfully, she hadn't actually seen anyone to seduce as of yet and as for 'picking on', that generally wasn't her style. Her fighting was sneaky and only bothered herself with it when someone desperately irritated her, been an irritating Gryffindor called Evie, wasn't enough to push her over the edge. "And yourself?" She asked him with a smirk.

Anna moved through the crowds, having gotten a little pulled away from her sister. She walked into the room, looking up as she smiled. She had missed The Sorting Ceremony and the Feast. Anna looked at where she could sit. She saw Larissa, Jason, Lilyan, and Aurora. She then decided to sit by them, "Hey guys!" Anna said happily, before looking down at her food. She grabbed a little bit of it and started to eat slowly, not wanting to make a big mess.

(Ooc: the "sexy slytherin girl" is Neffi! <333)

"A broken boy, um? Poor guy, if he's already broken before you, what will remain of him after you let him down?" said Don in a laugh.
He then noticed a sexy slytherin girl sitting not far from them. He leered at her but was forced to turn back his head to look at Larissa who was answering him. "I've known you faster." commented Don. "I, myself already have an eye on two little preys. A cute red-haired Hufflepuff and a mysterious Gryffindor."
He took a bite of meat and swallow it before continuing. Don was a member of one of the richest wizzard family so he was generally eating slowly and properly, as any of the well educated people did. And as he knew how the first-years were disturbing Aurora by eating like porks, he was even more careful not to eat too fast not to disturb his friend more.
"Yes, I know, you don't like Gryffindors but you know my opinion about it: as long as it's to play with, I don't care where my toys come from." added Don, anticipating Larissa's reaction.
When one of the three A- sisters came to sit with them, Don nodded to greet her. He noticed she was actually eating and that made his smile grew bigger. "Ahhh, at last, a woman with an appetite. It's good to see someone like you!" he said, talking to Anna.

[[OOC Whose the Mysterious Gryffindor!? O.O?]]

Anna looked up at Donald when he talked to her. She smiled as she swallowed her food, "It's good to eat, makes you healthy and strong. Plus this is a celebration in being back with our friends." She laughed softly, "I'm Anna, Anna Sanders." Anna introduced herself as she was glad to have met someone new.

Aurora had laughed at Don's comment. She couldn't stop staring at the first formers who were eating as pigs.
The food looked good though. It was a shame to let the food stand.. She looked to Anna. "Hey darling."
She did not know the girl very well. But she was nice. Aurora smirked lightly at Don's compliment towards Anna.
Maybe he would actually take the shot for one of th A twins. They could add her to the list than.

[ Ooc: It's Akasha, the vampire! Twisted Evil ]

"Nice to meet you Anna! My name is Donald MacAroy but please, call me Don." He said winking at her. "I'm glad to see a woman sharing my opinion concerning food. So you're a friend of Larissa?" he asked not mentioning Aurora as his friend didn't seem to remember the newcomer very well.
He looked at Aurora, confirming her thought about Anna being a new prey by raising an eyebrow and smirking.
