Journey One: Cabin Three [S]

Pippa thought for a moment then grinned "well, that seems ok. go for green or Gryffindor colors. that would really make him mad" she giggled and hugged Emily back before leaning forward in her seat to hear what Moses had to say

Oh yes, she would be fun indeed. "Oh there's plenty of dangers and adventure at Hogwarts." he said with equally twinkling eyes. "First, we have the Forbidden forest. Which is filled with all kinds of magical creatures from unicorns to centaurs." he said, his voice dropping an octave to make it sound mysterious. "We normally not allowed in there, unless it's Care for Magical Creatures or detention. Not that that stops me." he added with aw ink. "It can be very dangerous though." he said, his voice turning serious. "there are some creatures that can really harm or even kill you. And the centaurs don't really like wizards and witches."

That made him wonder. Should I really be telling her of the forest? No place for a first year. he puzzled on that for a moment before shrugging. I'm sure she couldn't get far without getting caught. "There's all kinds of passage ways yet to be discovered. So there's adventure in there. And the restricted section of the library." There were all kinds of places to have adventures. Upon hearing color suggestions, he nodded and thought for a moment. "Pink is over done. Perhaps I'll do Gryffindor Red and HufflePuff Yellow. I've got friends in Gryffindor who like pranks as much as I do." Which reminded him. He had to think of what to do to Molly in their never ending prank wars.

''Ohhhh... That forest sounds awesome!!'' She said with clearly exciment on her voice. She couldn't miss the chance of going with him over there...

''I'm sure you'll keep me safe, where we were there...''She said bitting her lips, hiding a mischievous smile. Her brain went wild. She was more than excited to get to the castle, to explore the wall inside it, and the outside... Then she realized she was almost dropping from her seat, she was so envolved with Moses' decription that she leaned to the edge of it... She leaned back to it, and laughed as he wondered about which color should he pranked on Mr Filch, and that brought her some more questions....

''Which house are you??'' She asked promptly, maybe he was a Slytherin all this time, and he was just be mean to them....

Pippa giggled. "oh, the secret passages? dad knows all of them, he promised he'd show me them this year. maybe once I know them all, I can show them to you?" Pippa grinned, loving the sound of the forest. "hey Em, since it's forbidden, there's probably tons of guards and stuff. dad told me a secret way in, we can go through there and explore, alright? maybe we can see the centaur herd dad talks about" her eyes glowed with excitement and she grinned. "Moses is Hufflepuff. isn't that right? Dad likes the house, usually, except when it comes to him" she giggled. "and you've got partners in crime, right? dad's never caught all of you at once, but he knows you're connected in some way"

Hiccup said with a smile as Toothless nuzzled on his head, "Well Toothless is a tamed dragon but soon after the shrink potion wears off he has to go into the forest. But I go into the forest to get new info on magical creatures to understand them like humans." Toothless cooed with his gummy smile.

A light chuckle left Moses' lips. The girl was a treat. She'll probably be in Gryffindor. he thought, noting how eager she was for adventure and possessed obvious bravery. Would be nice to have her as a HufflePuff. He thought before smiling at the ravenette. "I'll do my best, granted you don't go into the forest without me." he said, reaching out to ruffle her hair. When she asked about his house, he puffed out his chest and grinned. "A wonderful question! And here is how I answer." he cleared his through before grinning.

"I'm brave at heart, but not the extent of a Gyrffindor. I'm smart, but not as stuff shirt and study crazy as a Ravenclaw. Cross me or my friends, and I'll get my revenge in a manner most cunning, but I'm no ambitious Slytherin. Which leaves us with the loyal house of HufflePuff." As he finished his little speech, he gave a wink and laughed. "Most will think us HufflePuff to be sweet pushovers, but I'm the living proof that we can be great fun as well as a force to be reckoned with."

He gave a wink to Pippa. "Actually there are no guards. But Professors and Prefects do search around the halls for those out when their not supposed to." he admitted, giving a grin. "And of course he hasn't caught us all. Where would the fun be in that?" As Hiccup finally spoke, Moses gave a nod and smiled. "Neat."

Pippa grinned. "I can help you not get caught once this year" she grinned at Emily. this was going to be so much fun! "I hope I get into Hufflepuff, and I hope Em gets in with me! we're absolute best friends" she grinned at Hiccup and petted the little dragon. "that's so cool! I'll come visit sometime this year, I promise"

Toothless numming on Pippa's finger with his gummy mouth. Hiccup whined as he pulled Pippa's finger out of his mouth, "Toothless! No numming you know what happens when you start to num on another person finger."

Emily smiled brightly hearing Moses speaking, and when he talked about friendship, she gave a meaningful glance to Pippa. That girl was he best friend, and Emily could do anything for her!!

''I don't care which house I get, as long I have Pippa with me...'' She winked at her friend... ''Hmm, thinking better, I do'nt want to get Slytherin, they looked bored.... I think HufflePuff sounds perfect!'' She finished giggling

''But how do they know which house you belong to??'' She asked, frowning a bit, curiosity clearly on her voice.

Hiccup said with a smile as Toothless sat on his shoulder, "Oh that's easy the Sorting Hat will tell you which house you'll be in." Toothless then got on his belly and cooed.

''But hats don't.....'' She stopped speaking. She rubbed her hair on the top of her head, and pouted... She had to remember she was on a very different world, where all her craziest dreams could be real...

''How does it work?? I just put the hat, and...'' She stopped, her imagination failuring

Moses grinned at Pippa. "You are going to make a wonderful ally." he said, giving a cheeky grin. As hiccup mentioned the sorting hat, he gave a bright smile. "Wait to you see it! it always sings a different song every year before the sorting. It's almost as cool as the ghosts" As soon as he said those words, he paused before chuckling. "Well, it's best for you to just wait and see the rest." he said then, giving a mischievous grin. As Emily asked about the hat, he shrugged. "Just wait and you'll see." he said, winking. With that said, he leaned back and sat his hands behinds head. "After all, there's nothing like Hogwarts."

Hiccup explained as Toothless made a drawing of the sorting hat, "You see this what the hat looks like." Toothless handed the piece of paper to Emily with his gummy mouth.

''Why, thank you, Toothless...'' Emily smiled to the little dragon as he handed the piece of paper... She frowned a bit looking down to the draw, and leaned over Hiccup, whispering quietly next to his ear, so the dragon wont be offended

''Or the hat is pretty, and Toothless sucks at drawing, or he draws very well, and the hat is very ugly...'' He finished with a light giggle

Hiccup whispered as toothless sat on his lap, "That's how it's suppose to be like. No one but the headmaster knows how old this hat is or even if it's really old at all. I've been writing in my journal on the Sorting Hat since my first year."

''Ohh, I see...'' Emily said loud enough, so everyone could hear, even the little dragon...
''Thank you very much for the drawing, it's superb, Toothless!!'' She said grinning, and took the little dragon from Hic's lap, and kissed softly on it's head, putting on her own lap...

Then, she reached her box of Bertie's beans and offered to everyone.... ''Ive heard that the pink ones are delicious, Moses...'' She smiled innocent, and leaned the box directly to him...

Moses blinked as Emily spoke aloud about something, before kissing the dragon upon it's head. He sure is friendly. Moses thought as he looked at the dragon. When Emily offered some Ever Flavor beans, Moses raised an eyebrow and snickered. "Depends on the shade of Pink. And I've learned long ago not to be to hasty in trying one of those." he said before giving ehr a wink. "How about you give it a try and tell me what you think?" As he said this, he reached out and plucked a pale yellow colored one. Plopping it into his mouth he gave a thoughtful look. "Hmm. Beeswax."

Toothless dove his head into the Bertie's beans box as he hungrily at the beans. Hiccup said worried as he looked into the box, "Please tell me he didn't eat the earwax beans."

Moses looked over at Hiccup and gave a shrug. "There's a good chance that he did." he said, chuckling a little as he watched teh dragon's expressions for eating all the different beans. "Might have gotten a couple of vomit ones too."

''I tried one, and it tasted delicious...'' She smiled again. Perhaps it wasn't wisely trying to prank on a senior, speacilly Moses, but she could try a shot... She looked briefly to the guide behind the box, and she picked a different pale yellow... ''Hmmm... Buttered popcorn....'' she said as the flavor melted into her mouth...

Then she laughed seeing Toothless eating all the beans... He as so, so cute...''Well, I think he ate a bunch of them...'' She said giggling hysterically

Toothless groaned as felt his belly was full. Hiccup said as he rubbed his belly to make him feel better, "See this what happens we eat to much of a good thing."

''Ohh, poor Toothless...'' She said with soft eyes. Then she leaned to Hiccup
''Do you want some?? I think Toothless left some...'' She said grinning, and took another one randomly....
''Urgh..... It tastes like..... Dirty???'' She said with a grimace as she chewed the bean, and quickly swallowed it

Moses merely laughed as he watched everything unfold around him. "Well, he certainly enjoyed himself. Though I don't think Bott's Beans count as too much of a good thing." he added with a chuckle. Looking over at Emily he shrugged. "Well then you were lucky I suppose. But I'll stick to chocolate frogs and ice mice personally." he stated, his eyes twinkling as he smiled brightly. Speaking of which... "Ah, I forgot to get some frogs!" There went his chocolaty goodness.

Hiccup chuckled and said with a smile, "They do mean every flavor and I think you got the dirt bean. Nasty stuff, but good for a prank." Hiccup took the bean and said with a smile after he ate it, "Mmmmm Tutti Frutti so good."

''Urgh... I must have read the guide...'' She said, putting her tongue out of her mouth, and passed her hands on it, trying to take away that horrible taste. She put her tongue in, aware that maybe she was too rude with her friend.
''Sorry...'' She said giggling with a small smile... ''Pippa, maybe I want thoso mu... normal candy now..'' She was a bit shy on the moment, perhaps it was the best if she took baby steps.
