| [I WILL DESCRIBE HER TERROR TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY!]
Molly couldn't help but mimic Perseus' smirk. Maybe working with a Slytherin wasn't going to be that bad. For once she had a partner in crime; this was definitely going to upset Professor Andrada. In the back of her mind Molly wondered if anyone in the room was scared of snakes - if they were, this was going to suck big time for them.
Molly was actually rather impressed with the seemingly easiness of Perseus' spell. He turned his cloak into a snake easily and Molly returned the smirk once more. "That's quite impressive, Malfoy," Molly admitted. "Time to raise some hell, yeah?" She chuckled, watching the snake slither around. At first when it had started to come toward her, Molly was incredibly amused. Even if Professor Andrada got upset, he should be impressed with their good job.
Molly let out a light laugh as it started to slither up her arm - it didn't frighten her in the least, it actually kind of tickled. "Someone's a little friendly," Molly smirked as it started to go across her shoulders. She had assumed that it was going to go down her other arm, but when it took a sudden turn and started to coil around her neck, the panic started. "U-uhm," that was all she could get out before her air wave was getting cut off. Her hands flew up to the snake, scrambling to pull it off, but it wasn't working. So maybe working with the Slytherin boy wasn't a good thing after all. She just had to go and agree with the snake; what was wrong with her? Now it was going to kill her. She wondered for a brief moment if she should change into her dog form, but it might actually eat her.
Molly was choking, gasping for breath. Her head was started to get lightheaded from the lack of oxygen. She wanted to yell at Perseus to get it off of her, but she was unable. She looked up toward the ceiling, her heart beating wildly from fear. Would she die here? Would the snake kill her? She could feel her neck bruising as it constricted. She wondered what it would be like to die; wondered how her parents had felt when it happened. Maybe she would see them shortly.
Her vision began to blur and her knees felt weak. Soon she was on her knees, still trying to pry the snake off of her, but she was beginning to loose consciousness. Her eyes fluttered, starting to roll back into her head. The snake was getting the better of her, a mere snake. She should have seen this coming and though fear was welling up in her heart, she could't breath anymore. Soon, her body went limp - having passed out, not died - and she collapsed fully to the floor.

| ((AND WHAT ABILITY YOU HAVE, M'DEAR. Though Jayden looks like a bad teacher now XD))
In the back of his mind, Jayden thought how amazing it was that a class that could start off so well, could go downhill so quickly.
He saw Green Cloak Malfoy make the snake, and he was indeed impressed, though wary. Then the snake went up Starkey's arm, and even though she was amused, he picked up his wand, just in case something happened. And then it did.
His eyes widened when the snake began to wrap around the girls neck, choking her immediately. He saw it raise it's head, so as to swallow her whole, but his raised his arm and shouted, "Reverto!"
The snake paused, before it slowly turnt back into a cloak wrapped around the lifeless girl.
'LIFELESS?!'
Panic set in, causing Jayden to jump over the desks until he reached the girl. He took the cloak off and threw it over a desk, not caring if it got dirty, or otherwise. He bent down to get his ear close to Mollys mouth, and put two fingers on her pulse point. He gave a sigh of relief when he heard and felt her life. "She's alive." He said loud enough for everyone to hear him,"But unconcious."
He stood, placing Molly's body on the desk, and then turned on her partner, his blue eyes angry, but his voice calm,"Please explain to me what just happened, Mr. Malfoy. In detail."

| (( I shall sum up Perseus' train of thought right about now: "Fuck." ))
Perseus grabbed the snake as hard as he could, pulling with all his might as he tried to get it to release itself from Molly's throat. He grunted a bit, managing to loosen it ever so slightly, before his grip slipped and he fell backwards to the floor. He let out a low curse, then got up and attempted to grab the snake, again. He looked into Molly's eyes, willing himself not to panic. If something wasn't done, this snake would kill for in less than a minute. He held one hand around the snake, and pulled out his wand, his mind going blank as he attempted to remember the spell to reverse the transfiguration.
'Fuck!' he thought, his hands now full and unable to to cast the spell as he caught Molly, who had passed out. And then the sake suddenly stopped as the teacher shouted the spell he couldn't remember in the start of his internal panic. He released the snake as it paused, and then turned back into his cloak and went limp. He paid the cloak little heed, looking to the girl in his arms. He may not like many Gryffindors, but he hadn't wanted this to happen! He didn't dare look to Proteus, for he knew what expression would be waiting for him. Disappointment. And possibly a smack to the back of the head. Possibly.
And indeed, Proteus for once had a look on his face that hardly showed indifference. He had seen Perseus do something idiotic things... Hell, he'd even been a silent accomplice in some of them. But this was too far, too impulsive, too stupid- and he hated thinking of his twin in that way- for it to go unnoticed by him. Of course, he had worried the entire time for Perseus' safety, more so than the Gryffindor girl, for whom he had worried a bit. But right now, he was quite disappointed and... and honestly, he was a bit angry. Why would Perseus do that? Especially after the incident with the boggart! He was sure Proteus would get detention, but he wouldn't let his punishment end there. He'd be giving his brother an earful for as long as he saw fit.
Perseus pursed his lips as the girl was taken from his arms- and a part of him understood why- as Professor Andrada checked to make sure she was alive. He knew she was, for he had heard his Aunt Bellatrix share her tales of witnessing Nagini strangle unfortunate victims. Molly hadn't gotten nearly close enough to the color Bellatrix had always described the victims in. He looked to the professor with calm, if not a bit startled, eyes as he was asked to explain himself. He cleared his throat and took in a steady breath.
"I had joked with Miss Starkey about turning my cloak into a toothless snake," he began, looking at Molly and then back to the professor. "She agreed, and we thought it would be funny. Obviously, we were both gravely mistaken," he sighed quietly, standing upright. Really, he was at a loss for words at what else to say, how else to explain it, if he even could. The strangest feeling had wormed its way into his stomach, and he didn't care for it one bit. He stood there, for once not wanting any attention, still not reaching for his cloak.

| Waycca stood rigid the whole time, watching as every one else seem to leap into action. The room soon became a symphony of horrible sounds and sights. The snake was huge; she'd never thought about it before, but she thought it might not be so irrational to have a fear of them. One was, after all, about to murder her Housemate.
The Slytherin twin - she couldn't remember which one without his cloak - had tried to save her, at least. Dashed in as soon as the terrifying thing had gone for Molly's neck. And then there was Jayden, leaping over desks to get to her and shouting something Waycca couldn't really comprehend at the moment. But it seemed to work, as the snake shriveled back into a cloak - Perseus's, she thought. Her eyes flicked to the twin in question, the one in the middle of the classroom who was struggling to explain himself. She felt a bit of anger seep into her gut, which surprised her a bit. Of course, both Starkey and Malfoy had agreed upon the snake idea but she wasn't very keen to blame the unconscious girl...at least, not right now. And, she thought with an inward smirk, she no longer had anything to complain about with her straw-tie mutation.

| Jayden sighed heavily, running his hands through his hair, a look of indesicion on his face. He couldn't yell at the boy, there were no grounds to. In fact, he didn't even want to. He suddenly felt exhausted; his first day of teaching had somehow turned into a complete disatser, and he couldn't help but feel like he was to blame. He should've stopped Perseus as soon as the snake was summoned. But instead he watched. And now, because of his irresponsibility, a student had gotten hurt.
He sighed again, and looked at Perseus. Atleast the boy looked guilty, instead of haughty, like some other Slytherins would have. "Well, I can't be angry with you or punish you too harshly, because it was an accident. But you will still be punished, Mr. Malfoy, I hope you understand that. I specifically said nothing dangerous, but you both went ahead and broke that rule. So, both you and Miss Starkey will be serving dentention this week; you 8 o'clock tomorrow, and she will on friday at 8."
The Irishman placed a hand on the younger males shoulder, giving him a a small, but warm, smile, "We all make mistakes, even life-threatening ones. But I think that if you apologized to miss Starkey, she'd forgive you." He patted the shoulder, and then turned to the desk.
Jayden lifted the redheaded girl off the desk bridal style, carrying her like she was very light, but fragile. He looked at his other students, "Well you guys, it seems that class has to end early today. Perhaps we can finish your assignments at a later date. But for now, I just want you to write a short essay on the importance of the reverto spell, which changes a transfigured thing back to it's original form. I'm off to take Miss Starkey to the Hospital wing; you all can visit her if you like. Class dismissed."
Jayden nodded at them all, and then walked out of the room, to the infirmary.

| (( ASDHJGFL I forgot about this. xD ))
Perseus was silent as Jayden partially reprimanded him, and partially comforted him. He let out a breath. "Understood, Professor," he said calmly, then clamped his mouth shut when he felt Jayden's hand on his shoulder. He stared into space, willing himself not to think about the inevitable. Not only would he get a scolding from Grandfather for sure, he'd be getting one from Proteus. And those were the worst experiences, for him. He let out another breath when Jayden picked up Molly and left the room, then grabbed his cloak, dusting it off.
Proteus took a moment to pause and breathe, then immediately grabbed their things. He walked over to Perseus, grabbed his wrist, and tugged him towards the exit. "Come with me, now," he muttered, pulling his twin brother out of the classroom, neither of them looking at any of the other students as they left. For once, he didn't feel the compulsion to be silent. He was definitely going to give him an earful when they got back to the common room.

| Akasha watched Jayden walk out of the classroom, concerned for her housemate. She may not know the girl, but she was still a Gryffindor, and seemed to be a good person. She was glad that she was alright.
She watched Proteus and Perseus leave, both of them looking stoic, though she could see their true feelings in their eyes.
With a sigh, Akasha packed up her books, slightly disappointed she and Proteus could not try out their idea. Oh well. Didn't really matter.
The vampire hefted her bag onto her shoulder, nodded at the last two girls, and left.

| Waycca observed it all in a sort of muted fascination. It was really all quite interesting, though she realized she was fairly worried for the Starkey girl when he carried her off. Sure, she wasn't much more than a stranger, but she'd just been strangled by a deadly animal. It was a miracle, in short, that Jayden had gotten to her before she was totally lost.
It really did seem like a shame, though, that so few students had showed up to such an exciting class. She watched the Wynters vampire leave and was soon on her own feet, packing up and offering a dry look to Grace before following suit.

| Grace had watched the events boredly and for once said nothing about anyone's actions, but stood quietly playing with her hair. "what a fun class!" she thought sarcastically.
The class began to leave as the professor carried Molly away. Grace rolled her eyes. All that excitement and there was less than ten people in the classroom, that always seemed to happen lately.
Grace stood, grabbed her things and left, planning on finding somewhere quiet to waste her time.
