((d'aww, the minister's a'blushin'.))

Todd jerked slightly as he woke from his very brief nap. He glanced around, surprised to see another blond in the compartment where Fionn had been sitting just moments ago. He sat up straighter, hoping no one noticed his drifting off. She seemed to be getting along with the lot of them, and he wondered how he could have missed someone else's entering the cabin. He glanced to the side at Jim and murmured, "Oi, who's that?" He tried to keep his voice low so he wouldn't attract attention to his ignorance or interrupt the others' conversations.

"Whatever happened to the more the merrier?" Jessica asked, though she smiled. "Another year and all that. I'm sure you'll woo her by the end of it."

Jessica looked up sharply as she saw Todd wake up. She chose not to mention the small snort of surprise he uttered, sure he'd be embarrassed. Of course, his attention was also quickly taken by the triplet. Men. To her surprise, though, the triplet seemed suddenly more reclusive, as if embarrassed, though it took a keen eye to notice it considering the girl was still as perky as ever in her conversation. Jessica could not help but feel slightly sympathetic for the triplet, knowing full well that Jim's own awkwardness was easily misinterpreted for disinterest

"Hmm?" Jim looked over, realizing that Todd had asked him a question. "Oh, um, that's Aimee, part of that set of triplets with one in every house. Well, except Ravenclaw, that is." He always thought it weird that a set of siblings would end up in different houses. More often than not, siblings usually ended up in the same house. Of course, there were exceptions to that rule, but they didn't happen enough to be considered normal. He looked at her again, noticing that her face was red. Was she getting overheated or something? Jim knew that when the full moon got close, he could deal with crowds less and less and he started getting nervous and twitchy, which usually gave him weird looks from everyone near him.

Aimee couldn't help but overhear Fionn's point about the triplets always being together and instantly felt a little withdrawn, they were still individuals, it upset her slightly that people did not see that. Jim turned away from her and she blushed, she should've learnt by now that boys were not interested in her really, she was certainly overshadowed by Anna and Alice.

It was then she noticed the other cute boy sat next to Jim... oh dear. She hadn't really crushed on anyone for a while and then two come along at once. Coughing a little she reached into her satchel for a book, but managed to knock the contents over the cabin. Embarassed, she rushed to pick everything up.

[Whups! Sorryy XDD Lmao <3]

"if a girl is with other girls, especially her sisters, it is really hard to approach her. makes the possibility of being turned down quite a bit greater" he stated matter of factly and looked to Jim "oi, idiot! talk to the girl! she's not gonna bite" his way of trying to help someone romantically. he looked at Todd. "this is Aimee Jenkins. treat her nice and be polite. she's a lady" he looked back at Jessica, chuckling. "maybe, but she's never been the sort for wooing. believe me, I've been trying" he laughed at the thought of Jessica being wooed by anyone. it was so out of character for her.

he sighed and leaned over, grabbing the things that had fallen onto the floor. "careful Aimee, you don't want anything broken" he smiled slightly

"T-Thanks," Aimee was grateful that Fionn was helping her, but still a little shocked since she was usually a target for the bullies, not usually befriended by one. She managed to collect her her things into her bag with his help and sat back down with her book, Pride and Predjudice, using it tactfully to hide her flushed face.

"Oh," Todd muttered dimly, suppressing a yawn. "And what have I done in the hour I've known you to make you think I'd be impolite to her?" he asked Fioinn pointedly, not really looking for an answer. "And, uh, hi Aimee," he added hurriedly, unsure if going without a greeting would be considered impolite. Whatever.

He tensed slightly when she dropped all her belongings. He was about to bend to help pick it up, but Fionn had already swooped in, so he just nudged a book their way with the toe of his boot. If someone else was already helping, did that mean someone else had to do the same? Social situations were sometimes extremely beyond his capabilities.

Seemed like everyone was quick to help whenever Aimee dropped her stuff. Even Todd pushed a book over with his foot. Jim figured things were fine, so he just glanced out the window again, seeing the scenery pass by them. It practically seemed like they were in the middle of no where, what with all the green fields and mountains in the background. "You think we're almost there?" he asked absentmindedly. "Seems like we've been on this train for a while."

"yea, that we have. it's starting to bug me" Fionn jerked his head to the right, popping his neck. I'm not really big on the whole thing but it doesn't matter. considering all the problems lately we really don't have much of say in taking a different route this year, do we?"
((sailorchessie, Fionn is friends with all three of the triplets ^^" he wouldn't pick on her))

Todd looked out the window as well, suddenly realizing the train seemed to be slowing. "Uh, I think our little adventure is about over, guys," he said, raising his eyebrows and standing to stretch. He hoped they wouldn't all change too much; he didn't want any nasty surprises. Though, really, he probably wasn't going to be seeing any of them too much anyway. There were still cliques and groups certain people fit into, and he couldn't imagine that it would be any different than last year in that respect. "If you'll excuse me, I'm off to get my bags. Please refrain from weeping in my absence." Without further ado, he stepped over their feet and out the compartment.

"Mind me tagging along?" Aimee piped up with a smile, swinging her satchel over her shoulder and picking up her luggage. She didn't like been alone particularly and also wanted to get off the train fairly quickly. She followed him out of the compartment to the entrance of it and awaited a reply before she went further.

(Oh sorry Fionn! XD Thats fine then <33)

Todd glanced back over his shoulder at her, cocking his head. It wasn't as if he could say no, was it? "Yeah, of course you can tag along. Free will and all that jazz," he said, trying a smile before leading the way to where the luggage was stowed and, after that, getting off the train.

Fionn gave a sigh of releif as the train slowed down and swayed to his feet. "I'm going to get my robes on. I'll see you at the banquet Molly, Jess" he pulled his trunk down and pulled out his robe before walking out of the cabin and following Todd and Aimee. "come on kiddo, let's get ready" he chuckled at her, before going on down the hall.

((totally fine ^^))

"I hope to.. see you later," Aimee blushed as she glanced at the floor and then Jim. At Todd's words, Aimee smiled before following after him out of the cabin and down the hall. She giggled at Fionn calling her 'kiddo' and nodded in his direction before exiting the train.

Well, speak of the Devil. As soon as Jim had asked that question, they were here. Thank goodness for that. He was actually looking forward to getting into bed and sleeping for once. Werewolf transformations always took a lot out of him. He gathered his stuff and looked in time to see Todd walk out the door. He gave a little wave, wondering if Todd was a friend to him or not. He was sure about Molly, but then again, he and Todd were both kind of quiet and hadn't said much to each other. He shrugged, figuring that it could all be settled later on in the year once classes started. He set off down the hall, trying not to bump into anyone.
