Hufflepuff House Table: The Sorting Ceremony and Feast

Hiccup lightly blushed and said with a smile, "Uh, sure. When I free time in the forest that's where I'll be to take him out flying."

Pippa grinned. "yea, my dad's the caretaker" she jumped up and hugged Emily tightly before sitting down with her at the table and beginning to eat. "this is so cool! I love it here!" he sighed happily as she continued to eat. "I'm so excited to begin my year here. Hi Maggie" she giggled and grinned at the older girl, sure that they'd be friends.

Moses smiled proudly at his new apprentice as she claimed to do her house well and have her own apprentice upon her final year. The legend will live on. Sitting back down, he winked at Maggie as she whispered something to the girl. "I told you I had someone in mind for Princess." he said to her, chuckling at the inside joke. With a quick pat on Emily's head, he smiled at her. "Do me proud." he told her before digging back into his food.

He listened lightly to the conversation between Hiccup and Maggie. it seemed they were getting along great. That's good. he thought with a small smile. Taking a sip of his pumpkin juice, he glanced along the other tables and the professors. Dark chocolate eyes took in closely of all their faces. This will be grand. he thought to himself. Oh so grand.

''I will'' She said to Moses, smiling at him, with some food still in her mouth... Good manners at dinner time She could hear her mother's voice on her head, but her mom wasn't there right now. So she just smiled, after swalloing the left food.
She had already finished her plate, and she was about to serve herself again, when she stood and questioned..

''Do they serve desserts??? If they do, I'll stop eating, I feel like my stomach is about to explode!!'' She said grinning.

Pippa giggled, then looked over at the teacher's table, seeing her mom watching her bad manners with disapproval. sighing, she straightened and ate daintily. she grinned at Moses and Emily. this was going to be epic! "if you want Moses, I can show you the fastest way to the potion ingredients cabinets, dad told me about a way in the walls. he's also got a bunch of confiscated stink bombs in his office" she smiled brightly at the older boy

''Well, Pippa, we'll have to plan some strategies, or else you're father will suspect you, and then the party is over...'' She said with a grin, and served herself with some of mashed potatoes, that couldn't hurt much till dessert time...

"There are indeed desserts." Moses said, finishing up his plate. His eyes spotted a pumpkin pastry, and he reached out for it. When Pippa spoke, he looked at her then grinned. "You don't say?' he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief. With a small chuckle he tilted his head to the side. 'I might just have to take you up on that." he said before giving a wink and taking a bite of his pastry.

"oh, don't worry. dad told me not to talk to Moses, and if I avoid him in the halls and stuff, dad'll never suspect!" she giggled, looking at him. "great! I can't wait. can we throw the stink bombs into the Slytherin house and charm their door shut so they can get out?" her eyes gleamed with the possibilities of it, realizing for the fist time just how lucky she was to have the caretaker of the school for a dad. "I've also got the passwords to go into the forbidden secion of the library. mom left her book open and I took a peek before we left" she giggled.

''Awwwwww, Pippa, I've never been so happy for having you as my BBF!!!'' She exclamed with a ear to ear smile...
''I just can't wait till we go to the Forbiden Forest in the middle of the night.... We could take Hic too, so he could study the noctunal creatures over there, while we do some funnier stuff'' She said grinning, and winked at Hic, reaching to touch his hand slightly

Moses let out a deep chuckle. "I'll be sure to remember that." he said, not caring the least teat Filch warned his daughter not to talk to him. He was always a grumpy old man. Amazing that he got married at all. As Emily spoke, Moses lifted an eyebrow before smiling. "That would be a good idea.' he said, eating his treat. "But let's wait til you're more adjusted to the school before going out into the forest after hours."

''If you say so, Mozy... I think I'll respect that!'' She said with a grin and a wink. She pushed her plate away, she couldn't eat anything else, and she needed to take some room for the disserts.

When Hiccup mentioned flying her eyes sparkled. "Really?! I can fly him?! Coool!!"

She heard Moses talk to her. "Aaah... Well that makes me the queen then I suppose." She continued eating, listening in to the conversations.

Aimee had lost track of the conversation, and decided to smile and try and join in. "C-Could I be a prankster too?" She giggled nervously, she had been wanting to be one for a while now.. but, she hadn't had the courage to ask. She avoided eye contact a little with Moses uncertainly.

Caleb walked into the great hall still in wonder of all the food and students gathered together after all these years . He quickly located the Hufflepuff table in which most of his friends were already sat down enjoy the delights of the feast .
“ Hi again “ He smiled while pulling out a seat opposite Moses and Maggie “ Have I missed much” He asked while gathering some of the food onto his plate.

Maggie lifted her gaze to Aimee. "Ofcourse you could! Right Mozy?!" She bounced up and down slightly on her seat. "That would be cool." She saw Caleb come to them and smiled. "Hi Buttons. You missed sooooo much. The teachers said we have to write ten essays by tomorrow." She said joking, trying to keep a straight face seeing if he fell for it.

“ Hi Maggie ! “Caleb smiled then studied her face to see if she was joking. He knew that if he studied her long enough she was bound to break out in laugher sooner or later. “ Well then maybe you should leave all this food now and start on it “ He teased .

She tried to hold her grinn back, feeling it creep up on he lips. "You believed me did you?" She teased him.

Caleb couldn’t help but giggle at Maggie trying to remain serious. “ Of course I didn’t “ He answered smiling.

She giggeled. "Am I that unbelievable?"

Nani walked quickly into the Great Hall, everybody was already here, eating and chatting together... She sat down at the Hufflepuff table watching around to see all the new students of her house and of the others..
A lot of new kids in Hufflepuff this year.. she thought as soon as she looked all the table...

Her stomach grumbled, she hadn't ate anything yet from the day before, when she arrived at London to take the train with her brother and thanks to him she lost it! Like she lost the carriages at Hogsmeade since she had to do all the voyage on her broomstick.. At least nobody noticed her absence on the train..

"Thanks Sitka..." she snorted eating an apple she took from a basket in front of her..

Emily watched everyone attently for a while, but she got absent-minded watching all that happened around her... Most of the people on her table looked normal, and very beautiful, as well the people on the other tables... Then she took a look on the professor table, there were so may of them, and she wondered which of them would teach her this year...
Her attention got back to the table once she heard something she didn't know the meaning... ''What did you say???'' She asked to the girl next to her in confusion... ''Was that a spell??'' She asked with clear curiosity on her voice.

Nani blinked when the girl next to her asked her a question.. Probably a new student... she thoughts looking at her..

"Do you mean Sitka?" she asked raising an eyebrow.. "It's the name of my brother!" she chuckled..

Hiccup said with a smile as he looked around, "Well I think this is going to be a fun year for us." Hiccup saw the teachers and asked curiously as he saw Holli, "Moses, who's that?"

''Does your brother speak our langague?? His name sounds like he was an abroad student....'' She said fondly...

Moses grinned at everyone one around him, enjoying the liveliness of it all. When Aimee asked if she could be a prankster his eye slit up. "I agree with Maggie, of course you can." he told her, with a bright smile. "The more the merrier. We need to make sure everyone knows that HufflePuff House is not one to take lightly." A mischief glint filled his eyes. "Long Live the HufflePuff Pranksters!" he bellowed out with a cheer.

As Caleb came to their table, he grinned at the other. As Maggie tried to trick the other, he snickered. "Well, what you truly did miss was the announcement of my apprentice." he said, putting his arm around Emily as she spoke to another girl. His attention was brought to hiccup as the other asked about someone. Dark chocolate eyes glanced to where the Hiccup was looking and spotted a blonde woman at the professor's table.

"Not sure." he said as he looked at her. "One of the new Professors I suppose. Or I just haven't had her." he added in after thought. He would remember otherwise, he was sure.
